The Cafe at Hervey Bay Airport — Restaurant in Queensland

Never in my 37 years of living have I been to an airport cafe where they stay so kind and inviting when they are being completely smashed with orders!! So many unique options with food to warm beverages, even alcohol for the nervous flyers ;) Prices are beyond reasonable compared to most airports in which food and drink prices are doubled!

A young lady, very polite and well mannered, made me the best latte I've ever had! Beautiful rich coffee mixed with the smoothest, creamiest milk, absolutely divine!

After speaking to one of the owners, I found out they are a family owned business with other lovely employees, really creating that friendly atmosphere which majority of businesses lack.

This cafe has a really good opportunity to be very successful and a nice place to sit pre-flight, however, the attitude of the staff leaves a lot to be desired, a simple hello to customers or at least a look that doesn’t scream “i don’t want to be here” would not go astray.

Also, please put prices in the display cabinet, i’m sure I’m not the only one who has been unpleasantly surprised by the high prices.

I recently attempted to purchase a coffee at Harvey Bay Coffee, but unfortunately, the staff refused to serve me.
