A pretty cafe and good quality food. However the service is quite questionable, not too sure if it was the owner that served my friend. It was an older woman who served my friend, where he asked about his order. I was standing onside and witnessing his interaction with the lady behind the counter. He doesn't have great form of communication due to his disability, as he can become easily frustrated when under pressure. The lady didn't believe him about his missing order, something about how she called his name and he didn't turn up for his order. He asked for a refund but she refused and it made him quite irritable. This was back a couple of months ago. Instead of reassuring the customer about getting their refund, they ended up being a bit snarky. Making my friend annoyed at the situation and they didn't de-escalate by using empathy and basic customer engagement/ service. I understand that he was annoyed but customers are always right. I understand that this is the only cafe in Miles as I am FIFO worker that occasionally work within the area. I came back last week and was served by a young lady who was really nice and had better customer service than the older lady. I hope the older lady is ok with everything as the last time I went there she seem to be irritated. The young lady behind counter was a great morale booster and made the atmosphere of the cafe comftable. The coffee taste amazing and the food is always good quality. At the end of the day the customer is always right and bringing the right attitude to the workplace is something that is important for a business to run.

UPDATE: to the owners response. There was a tall younger girl that has blonde/ light brown hair who was nice. There was definitely staff. My last visit; there was a young person serving. Definitely someone working as you get sometimes busy in the mornings Ive noticed. Never knew one person can serve, make meals, make coffee and clean all during a rush. I see you pride yourself understanding someone with a disability, but however, what I have seen with the older lady who treated my friend like he was in the wrong. I've read through the reviews and noticed you also responded to my friend's review. Saying he was abusive towards "staff" ( you used the word staff, when this happened under 6 months ago, staff meaning employees?) when all he was doing was showing frustration and you told him to not comeback. Definitely got the right business. Either I'm seeing things or you are lying in the reviews. You responded to my friend about having staff about a few months ago and now you are saying that you didn't have any staff? How can one person run a show making sure food and coffee run on time? Why did I see staff working? Why is it your response doesn't match up to my friends response? I love the cafe atmosphere. But I noticed you as the owner respond back to alot of low star reviews. This is constructive criticism; I understand what it is like to work in hospitality. But the service from the one older lady and constant need to find excuses in the response to the low reviews. Some of your responses aren't to the...

Overall experience was pretty poor. Though service when ordering was pleasant. My husbands rosti was burnt, coffees we ordered were not delivered, when I went to query proprietor told me to be quiet...as if I didn't know what I had ordered as she was going through dockets with young girl. I was then told I hadn't ordered coffees though I had been charged for them. My daughter had ordered a flat white but was delivered a latte... apparently by the said proprietor lattes and flat whites are the same... what the!!!!son ordered a flat white... it had 2 inches of froth on it... some had ordered lactose free milk, we are questioning if they were done on lactose free as stomach upsets were felt after. Some staff were very pleasant and a bit embarrassed by the time of our ordering and receiving of orders. Locals came after we had ordered but received coffees well before we received our coffee which we had ordered... A VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT ALL AROUND ...considering it's a well...

On a previous occasion i had stopped at the Creek Cafe with a friend, who said the coffee was great...i was a little hesitant as i have been disappointed so many times with a 'good coffee'.

Well needless to say the coffee was great so definetly no dissapoointments there!

The food was amazing and the service was none like i have ever received before! Stopped in there again just recently ,after hours at 3pm,rang the cafe to see if it was open as we did not know the cafe closed at 2pm...Paula was more than happy to make our coffee and even offered for us to sit in there so my grandson could play in the play area... Paula was the most amazing lady i have ever met...went out of her way to accommodate our needs, all with an extremely gracious attitude and a wonderful smile . So on my trips from out West The Creek Cafe will now be my "stop& revive" place ! Thank you Paula for restoring my faith in good old customer service..that's definetly an area...

We dined at 10:00 on a Saturday morning. There were 3 tables being used, but plenty still inside and lots outside (it was raining). First up, the coffee was exceptional. Merlo based and made to perfection. The menu was broad, with cakes and rolls in the display, but many hot dishes on the menu from the kitchen. We sat on the verandah and it was cosy and comfortable. Our coffees arrived very quickly, with the generous servings of food not long after. We both had eggs Benedict and they were hot, fresh and tasty. The staff were very polite and welcoming, also engaging in some banter. On sale was also a surprising array of gifts. Well worth a stop.

I love this place (hidden behind the main street). What great ambience in such a remote location. Friendly obliging staff. Dog friendly. Check the hours, they close earlier than you might expect. I have an amusing rating system for lattes. Here, I give them a rare five stars. The latte must have such good quality milk (with serious thick froth) that, when combined with a great barista, the spoon stands vertical and supports itself. I've only seen this a few times in my life.

Nice inside , good gift range and friendly service from young person. Outside needs a clean and gardener. Eggs were not good. Donโ€™t mind runny yolk but whites were half cooked. Not a place Iโ€™d go back to. Update: Thank you for your response. I stand by my honest review. Your medical situation is not my business. I notice from other reviews you donโ€™t take criticism well and maybe need to be more open to all feedback. Update: no not nasty, truthful
