Stopped here randomly for dinner one night. The venue looked really nice, well layed out and clean looking. You can see that it is building itself up to be a decent looking place and wedding venue aswell.

The staff, at least the 2 that i dealt with, were rude and horrible. It was such an effort for my food order to be taken and not a single care was given by them or to being pleasant. The food was really quick, suspiciously so, but was really nice to eat and tasted great.

The only environmental thing i didn't like was the bogans everywhere, the typical rural cap wearing farmer that was well on their way to getting drunk. I luckily got to overhear the life story of a lady who was telling a potential hook up about being arrested for armed robbery as a teenager and how after all the drugs and alcohol in her life she was... yeah, that's when i tuned out lol.

Overall the venue is really nice, it is family friendly and the prices and food were decent. I would love to go...

I really don’t know where to begin so I will start with the bar area itself. Absolutely clean and tidy and looking like a properly stocked Queensland pub should. Nat introduced himself right away and I made myself known to him. We were there for a wedding at the function centre so didn’t try the pub grub. I don’t know if the caterers were an outside hire or not but the pre dinner nibbles were a very tasty array and a dinner topped it off with outstanding food. We went back to the pub for a nightcap and spoke with Nat again. I told him how impressed we were and we will definitely be coming back. The accommodation was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and warm. So warm that we didn’t even put the heater on in July! I don’t give my five star Willy nilly but I really think that the Mill Inn Tavern ticks all the boxes. Thanks to Nat and Josh and all of your staff to make our stay one to...

This business has a new owner recently. I attended a school reunion in their function Centre on the weekend. The function centre itself was fine, however, the function manager and staff were very unhelpful. They wouldn't help with setting up their electronic equipment so that we could run our slideshow; we cut a celebration cake towards the end of the evening and requested if the staff could hand out the cake but no they refused. We requested cake forks to eat the cake with, again, sorry no. We requested if it was possible to have tea and coffee , again, no. If we wanted tea and coffee we could walk across to the tavern for that. Well, in my opinion they need to brush up on their hospitality skills. I also heard they would not honour the original pricing we were given a few months before when we were organising this function. Not good for a small country town ....

We drove from Toowoomba with a family of six for dinner and minigolf, after hearing great reviews. The dinner took over an hour to arrive, and although the food was decent, it wasn't wait-a-whole hour good. The pizza, crumbed steak, and lamb shank were good enough, but the fish was floury. We did enjoy the minigolf. Probably won't make the trip again, as an hour drive followed by an hour wait isn't the best way to keep four kids happy.

Good country feel, the staff and locals are all very friendly. The pub can get a little loud at times when there has been a game on but thats to be expected in a local tavern, it certainly just adds to that local feel. The restaurant serves decent pub style grub in large portions for a very reasonable price, it certainly satisfies that hard earned hunger... more parmi than I could finish

We called in for a lunch on our way through town. The Pub was clean and the staff were welcoming. All of our meals were very tasty and priced well. I would definitely recommend a stop if you're passing through. We didn't stay in the rooms, but they were very tidy on the outside and will definitely spend a night next time I'm in the town.
