Very disappointed! We got cold pies and sausage rolls. Spent over $30 for food that was inedible due to it being so cold and the quality was awful anyway. Health and safety need to investigate this Cafe because your food handling/service techniques need to be addressed! I saw a young man use his bare hands to pick up and serve a ham and cheese croissant that had fallen to the bottom/front of the display case! It was sitting on dirty crumbs and grubby glass. That food was given to a customer yuck!!! The Hot food needs to be served at 60 degrees. This cafe/bakery would be lucky to have it sitting above 5 degrees absolutely disgusting and food poisoning waiting to happen! Even if it was hot the quality of the pies and sausage rolls was terrible, I have had better from servo hot boxes (and they are always dry,...

Upon walking into Tram Cars, you instantly see filth, month old crumbs and build up of baked on meat in the pie warmer and its shelves, flies in the sandwich and cake cabinets, drink fridges have mould on the seals and built up gunk on the handles. I would like to think the cleaner got fired and they are trying to replace them, but it seems like there hasn't been a cleaner for weeks or even months. Based on the cleanliness of the food cabinets and the kitchen area... I would not eat here. A quick look across the road at the dilapidated 'factory' where the product is all made, it's no wonder why the main shop is so dirty, the whole place is rundown and a disgrace, looks like the whole place needs demolishing and rebuilding.

Toilets are clean and tidy... Maybe just stop in if you need...

We always seem to stop here hoping for a better experience than the last. Unfortunately it never is. It's filty dirty and the toilets looked like they hadn't been touched in months. I can only hope the kitchen is not of similar standard. A great coffee brand, great food options but our coffee and pies were well below average. Good, friendly service staff but thats the best of our experience. Tramcars, please up your standards - you have such potential in the location, being the first stop for many travelling out of Brisbane. Something as simple as a clean toilet space says a lot about a place - especially where food is served. A better textured milk could save...

Great little cafe, in behind Bunnings, plenty of parking, including enough space to park a Caravan or motorhome. Morning tea was good, nice Coffee, great Caramel slice & one of the best Custard tarts I have had, full of flavour & very creamy. As a well traveled custard tart fan, this was one of the top 3 I had tasted over the years. Prices were good, seating looked out into the car park, but that’s pretty normal nowadays. Staff were very attentive & made you welcome. Thank you Tramcars cafe Thank Tramcar cafe for a lovely morning tea

When you ask for a chicken and salad sandwich your expectations are that you get salad not coleslaw. If you order a coffee with your sandwich you’d expect to receive it roughly with your order not forgotten because your busy gossiping with the next customer that comes in. We went out of our way to cross the highway to get to your cafe we really wish we hadn’t of bothered. Poor service, even worse food. We threw your sandwiches out. Waste of money, time and effort. If your looking for a feed keep driving.

Sorry Tramcars, had to edit my previous Review of 5 stars to now only 3. The selection of wraps today very disappointing & probably suits tradies at best . The toasted Banana bread was just average as was the Orange & poppy seed muffin. All premade sandwiches are on white bread only & no other options available. Pies are only average, according to some travellors on our next table. Presumably all food made elsewhere. Sorry guys, won't be coming back again.
