What a fabulous place to while away a Sunday! We escaped to this hidden gem with the intention of a couple of beers and some enjoyable live music( hard to find where we live) and ended up having a delicious lunch......(calamari for me, and Mackie in a blanket for him), beers, cruisy tunes and such a great time we went back for dinner! Sunday roast is definitely not to be missed! Generous servings of well cooked, mouthwatering beef, roasted potatoes and pumpkin and just enough greens to make my mother happy 😉 with lashings of tasty gravy. A bottle of red topped it off perfectly! To make this venue even better, friendly service from happy people, a view of the beach and a vibe that just makes you want to come back, again and again. We had a fabulous experience eating at Tuskers with our large family group. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication (our fault, not theirs) which meant they didn't have our booking for 20 people. They were very accommodating in still fitting us in, even though they also had another large group of 60 people the same evening. They took our order in advance, and our meals came out quickly and we're delicious. Generous portion sizes and everyone really enjoyed their meal. They also had great gluten free options for two coeliacs in our family. My wife and I had dinner at Tuskers on a Monday night. We both had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was so good, we returned the next Friday and had it again. Then a bit over a week later, we returned once more for the curry night, we both had Butter Chicken and it was really good, we asked for mild, and that is what we got! All the staff were friendly and welcoming and helped make each night very enjoyable. This is one of those out of the way restaurants that really do exceed expectations.
