Ravy Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Ravensthorpe

2024 Re visited the Ravy today. The staff were lovely, very approachable and efficient. New owners took over earlier this year and it was a totally different experience. Also they make their pies on site and are some of the best I have tasted.

2022 Extremely disappointed in our experience yesterday. The serving person was absolutely miserable. When asked for cutlery to eat our food with she was very rude about it. When we asked for serviettes, she rolled her eyes and made out it was a huge imposition on her time. When leaving we voiced our disappointment on her attitude and she said “what did we expect. Can’t we see that she is very busy doing this and that etc”. We were quite appalled at this response especially as we were being very nice about it. a shame as we have always stopped here on our way to Esperance. Probably won’t chance...

I think we must have got there on an OFF DAY for the kitchen 😳 Heard one couple chasing up their egg and bacon rolls that seemed to be taking forever, another table of 3 sent their pies back as they were still cold and our order was half delivered and eaten before chasing up the second plate only to find it hadn’t been cooked and told it would take 2 minutes which of course is code for 10-15 minutes when we asked for our money back and we would get something at the roadhouse! Stopped through Ravensthorpe en route to Denmark and chose the Ravy as it had 4.5 stars. Must start by complimenting the staff as being very friendly and helpful (thus the 2 stars not 1). I ordered a tea and vanilla slice. While the tea was far too hot, it cooled down eventually, and the vanilla slice was a tasty bog-standard slice. My husband ordered a flat white and blueberry muffin. The muffin was unfortunately very dry and bland, and the coffee was completely undrinkable (too hot and tasted awful)....
