I had the pleasure of dining at The Cellar Kitchen, situated within the Novotel Barossa Hotel, last Thursday evening. We had a slight delay to get there. Once we entered, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and promptly escorted to our table, where the professional and efficient staff ensured our dining experience began seamlessly. Opting for the 2-course meal at $69 per head, we were treated to complimentary sourdough bread and butter. Our entrees, featuring sweet potato and ginger soup and potted beef with toasted sourdough & onion jam, tantalized the taste buds with their flavorful combinations. The menu's wine pairings can enhance the overall dining experience for those who want to try those. Although the braised short rib of beef was unavailable, the alternative options of Fillet Ling with shiitake mushrooms and hazelnuts, along with the Dry aged Aura Wagyu sirloin, did not disappoint, arriving promptly and cooked to perfection. Wagyu Sirloin had a $15 surcharge. Accor Plus members, can get a generous dining discount of up to 50%, further enhancing our satisfaction. Throughout our visit, the professionalism and attentiveness of both the staff and floor manager ensured that we felt well-cared for, leaving us with a memorable dining experience that we would eagerly revisit. Because it is night time we didn’t see the beautiful view, but people who have visited during day time boasts of...

I had the pleasure of dining at The Cellar Kitchen recently, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations from a well-curated menu.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. I started with the yellowfin tuna with sesame, avocado and wasabi which was a perfect balance of earthy and tangy flavors. For the main course, the loin of lamb with carrot were cooked to perfection, paired beautifully with chimichurri. Every dish demonstrated a careful attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality ingredients.

The dessert menu was equally impressive, and the panna cotta I chose was a decadent end. The Cellar Kitchen excels not only in its culinary offerings but also in its overall dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a...

Restaurant was nice, view was lovely. Be aware if there are two of you, you may be seated at the window which means everyone else is looking in your direction towards the view. Bread and olives were served to us in timely fashion but noticed most others received theirs at same time as mains. Limited menu now, perhaps because of covid. Alà Carte menu was much better in April, as was the staff service. Bread and olive plates were still on our table when we had finished mains. Mains were amazing. Cheese plate for dessert is more geared for 2. Would be good if paired it back for one as menu does not state it is for 2. Chocolate pavlova was actually a meringue. Definately not 5☆ staff. No one 'checked' on us, nor refilled glasses etc. Want silver service with friendly attentive staff and great food - try Jack and Jills...

Visited for 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating for people with dietary requirements. The food is excellent quality and most serves a quite generous. We made the mistake of ordering sides the first night and it was absolutely not necessary. The serve of bread is quite large. The breakfast buffet has all the classics options and is relatively simple. The only complaint I have is with the milk options, soy milk was the only plant option but the staff did note they had carried other options in the past. This dosnt effect me personally so it won't impact my opinion. If you are staying at the Novotel or looking for a dinner option in the area I definitely recommend.

My wife and I had such a wonderful, relaxed and enjoyable dinner with the most gorgeous sunset views. Zack was a wonderful waiter and Matt impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the wine region. They both made our first evening in Barossa a delight. On Matt’s recommendation, I went with the pork fillet for main, which was sensational. The salmon entree was equally sensational. The venue is beautiful, the food delicious and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We highly recommend! Thank you, Matt, for our “almost anniversary” dinner!
