Didn’t have an overall good experience... I didn’t really feel welcome when I stepped In, the staff doesn’t look seem friendly even though they do smile. I had a miners pasty for lunch, it burned my mouth, it has no flavours at all it just tasted like steamed carrot and potatoes. Sure the miners could afford some salt and there’s plenty in SA for free in dry lakes. I also doubt they would pay this much as it costs the same as a juicy and tasty meat pie. Big disappointment.

Good accomodation in this very small country town. Clean and tidy room with plenty of space for our family of 4. The bakery/general store/gift shop on the main road is presented clean and tidy. Best range of pastries early in the morning. Amy looks like a hard working business owner baking all the food, serving customers and everything in between. Would recommend visiting here early in the day for the best range food.

Went for the Miners Pastie, and I was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious. Don't expect a photo, as I demolished it before I took one. The coffee was also pretty good. I was not a huge fan of the Quandong Pie, but others liked it. For me, it was a bit bland. Lovely little verandah where you can sit.

I really like this little bakery and store. I've called in a few times while camping in the area. It could maybe do with an extra veg option or two (never any veg paties when I call in) but the veg toasties were superb. This is a remote town and you pay a little more for some things, but I thought the take away food & drink prices were quite reasonable. They also sell a few basic general store supplies which are a bit more expensive, as you'd expect. On top of the food and basic supplies there is a selection of tourist nic-nacs and gifts. Sitting on the verandah outside the bakery with a tea/coffee is a great way to meet other travellers. For a very small remote town, Blinman has a lot of people passing through.

I also found the service at the...

Hubby says coffee was average. Our ham & cheese croissants were average...I think they need to use a flavoursome cheese and really heat them up so the cheese is melted. Bought a quandong pie - yummy. They should display prices of food. Nothing in the cold cabinet had prices only names. Lovely shop decor new rustic. Great local facial and body creams etc, beautiful bird ornaments. I just couldn't give 5 stars because of the coffee and tasteless croissants. Definitely visit again if...
