Visited this new restaurant bistro in the Clare Valley on Sunday with a group of 9.
From the moment we sat down the staff were attentive and pleasant.
Wine is extremely well priced and supports all local wine producers.
My order of Perogis were the best I have had in Adelaide … served with onions and butter … hand made perfection.
Other entrees were the Arancini … with crab …. I thought there was little taste from the crab but delicious nonetheless…
Main courses were varied from my husbands ribs with chips and corn … with the meat falling off the bone
My main of gnocchi with truffle was the best gnocchi I have had … light fluffy and rich ….. to die for.
Only one dessert was ordered .. churros and they were a hit too.
I wish the owners every success as this is a bistro to be supported .. I know I will be back next week and can see it becoming a firm favourite...
Read moremg, I LOVE this place! I have been following this business on FB since new owners have taken over and had been meaning to visit for months. The gnocchi dish is beyond amazing and I am totally obsessed with it so I thought I had better try another dish. Relaxed in the wine bar today with the HUGE beef schitzel and glass of locally sourced cab sav whilst having a solo "working lunch". I am sampling local lunch places for my own BnB and just keep coming back to The UPPside! Great menu, wine selection and for the non-drinkers, try the home-made lemon squash or lemon, lime and bitters! This is my new "go to" place when I want to enjoy some "adult time", eat amazing food and be absolutely spoilt by amazing owners and the best chef in the Clare Valley!! :) Thank you so...

Maybe it was not and the chef pounded it and cut it out to a perfect heart shape and checked that it was the same height all the way across , but it certainly tasted rubbery and the herbs used were not to hubby's liking. Since he is one to always order chicken when we dine out, this means that it will be the first and last time that we dine here. With so few patrons, I understand that some things will need to be frozen to be kept on hand, but not the meat, surely. The wines by the glass at $12.50 are, I think, at the top of the scale and $10 for a can of local beer is...
