Allan's Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in South Murwillumbah

We we're visiting the Tweed up from Sydney's S-W, we discovered a little gem in the Tweed.

Flying under the radar and located untypically away from where you would be expecting to see fresh seafood, also having a great Japanese born seafood sous chef working.. this place deserves everyone's custom. Their seafood chowder is amazing!!!, not a regular dish served at the restaurant, please give a couple of days notice before dropping in for this dish, or experience it in the Tweed River Lunchtime Cruise.

A neat tidy restaurant despite suffering a direct hit from flood damage, its hard to picture what has been endured.

way too expensive for extremely poor quality food and lack of flavour. after waiting for over 30 minutes. My chips came out luke warm and soggy my pizza was honestly a bit gross way to much mozzarella that tasted like fridge. being super unsatisfied the food being almost inedible i went up and asked for a portion of my money back as it was $45 and honestly i didn’t think it was that good quality. they denied me of giving me any money back because in there eyes there was nothing wrong with it when i clearly stated exactly what was wrong with it. extremely terrible customer service. i won’t be supporting here again they know nothing about...

20/3/25 snapper and chips as good as ever. The salt and pepper squid special was crisp and delicious. 3 weeks ago, I wrote Nice snapper and delicious spring rolls. The salt and pepper squid was a little oily but still couldn't bring the star count down. To be able to choose the type of fish you want at the bargain price here, with chips is amazing.
