Farmhouse Cafe — Restaurant in St George

I dined here this morning with my partner. We ordered an eggs benny and an avo on toast plus 2 coffees. We ordered with the girl out the front and sat down. Out coffees came out almost instantly. They were average coffees, the chai didnt have much chai in it. One of the workers came out and was cleaning tables and removing easter ordaments. The other worker was behind the till on her phone and cleaning the bench top. My parnter and I waited 1/2 hour for our food while we watched these 2 workers clean and organise the cafe. We were the only 2 customers in the cafe. It wasnt until i went up to the till and asked for our food that she realised that we didnt have our food. Food was then quick after that.

I understand that mistakes happen and technology doesnt work sometimes but I suggest checking in with customers during their experience would be benefical to your business. In addition, providing an quicker explaination and apology as to why our food is taking so long would be great too. We were told that the food was delayed until our food was delievered 45 minutes after we ordered.

Overcharged - Ordered toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwiches - was charged $5 for a 3 filling sandwich, but was also charged $1/ham, $1/cheese and 50 cents/tomato??? So this equates to $5 for the bread and butter.....Didn't realise until we were on the road travelling, so couldn't go back for...
