I absolutely adore the bakery on Alcorn street. Every visit feels like a sweet escape to a pastry paradise. The pies and coffee here are nothing short of extraordinary.

The moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked pies wafts through the air, instantly making your mouth water. Their pie selection is a true work of art. From classic apple and cherry to exotic flavors like lavender-infused blueberry, they cater to every palate. Each pie boasts a perfectly flaky crust, lovingly baked to golden perfection.

But what truly sets this bakery apart is its commitment to quality. The ingredients they use are top-notch, and you can taste the difference in every bite. The apple pie, for instance, features crisp, locally sourced apples that burst with natural sweetness. It's not overly sugary, allowing the fruit's flavors to shine.

The coffee here is the perfect complement to their pies. They offer a range of blends, from rich and robust to mild and aromatic. A steaming cup of their freshly brewed coffee pairs harmoniously with a slice of pie, creating a symphony of flavors that warms the soul.

The ambiance is equally charming. Cozy seating, warm lighting, and friendly staff make it a welcoming place to enjoy your treats. Whether you're catching up with friends or simply indulging in some "me time," this bakery provides the ideal setting.

In conclusion, this bakery is a treasure trove of delightful pies and coffee. The dedication to quality ingredients, coupled with a cozy atmosphere, makes it a must-visit for anyone with...

Updating my review from a 4 star to a 1 star. Terrible customer service!! I have never ever had such rude service.

I am in complete shock and very disappointed with the Suffolk Bakery. Stuff are extremely rude and it appears this is common when reading other reviews. After waiting 30 minutes for a coffee I approach the older blonde lady making coffees to see how far my coffee would be, I thought they may have missed my order in error. She rudly replied "how would I know I don't know your name" I never expected her to know my name and did not expect such a rude reply. When I confirmed my name she continued to be rude and told me I was being rude, I wasn't rude and I am not a rude person I asked politely about my order and she should not speak to a customer the way she did. Also while I was waiting three older gentlemen turned away from the store because no-one was wearing face masks including the staff, the men did not feel safe and walked away. We visit both your Brunswick and Suffolk bakery regularly but after today I will not be returning to either store. I did not expect to be treated so poorly, I will be taking my family and...

This was another recommendation that came up in the top google searches. Just made a quick stop after Masa in the hopes that it would be better.

Tried their chocolate croissant and as promised it had chocolate layers ALL AROUND AND IN BETWEEN the layers. That’s not something you find everyday. Each layer of pastry could be separated with even crunch bite. The almond croissant itself was nice but the almond filling inside was more on the pasty custard side than almond side. Finally my husband was keen to try a hedgehog, and it was such a disappointment I left it on the plane on my ride back to Sydney. That’s saying something cos we NEVER leave dessert - it was just not worth the calories or carrying it - so was a big...

Amazing huge bakery that has everything! Many vegan choices including hot flaky pastry rolls and quite a few other delicious vegan salads and savoury slices. They don’t have Bonsoy for coffee unfortunately; they do have happy soy boy, which is more than tolerable (unless you are allergic to cane sugar). Very busy and you can expect to queue. The only difficulty is that it is so big, you cannot look around to see what all the choices are without losing your spot in the line, so I recommend going with a friend! My sweet potato roll was a little bland, I would go for the curried lentil next time. The baked items have a lot of oil, as you’d expect for this kind of fare.

This was a great stop. Based on the amount of people that came while we ate breakfast this is clearly a local favourite too. The staff are friendly and quick. Harriet was a delight. Great range. Lots of Vegan options too if your looking for it. Quiches were really nice. Husband had Beef, bacon and cheese pie - it was lovely, nice pastry, good size. Coffee was amazing and a local bean too. Chocolate Croissant was amazing, not just chocolate shoved in the middle but multi layered to a light and fluffy perfection. The carrot cake was divine, dense, moist and good proportions of icing to cake.
