Bombay Bliss Indian Restaurant - Caloundra — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

We just recently had a Bombay bliss open local to us at sippy downs, and was very keen to try it, when going on to there website to see if I needed to book a table in advance, I read that they had a “street food” menu which looked delicious, when clicking to read more info, it explained that the “street food” was only available at the caloundra restaurant, so we booked there specifically for that reason. On arrival we were given a menu, which had no mention of the street food options, I asked the waitress, who seemed to have no idea so went into the kitchen to ask, to which she came back to say that it was only at the “maroochydore restaurant” I showed her the website were it specifically said caloundra. We was so disappointed as this was the only reason we traveled to this location! We placed our order, I ordered the paneer masala, amongst other things, when my main dish came out it was a prawn dish, I made the waitress aware that this was the incorrect curry and that I ordered a paneer masala, she apologised and took it back to make the curry I ordered, after waiting some time, they brought out my curry, which unfortunately again was wrong! And was a chicken dish, so I had to wait for them to make again, by the time my curry came out I wasn’t even hungry. Iv never wrote a review before and hate to be that person, but hopefully will save someone making the trip specifically for the street view menu! Food ...

Bombay Bliss Caloundra is by far my favourite Indian Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. After having Indian food from most other notable places throughout the Sunshine Coast in my lifetime living here, I can confidently recommend from experience that Bombay Bliss Caloundra is the best.

Constancy and quality are their biggest strengths. Most other Indian places i've been to use cheap meats, but Bombay Bliss Caloundra always uses top-quality meats that are always tender so you never have to worry about unwelcome bones/ gristle/ tough meat unlike many other Indian Restaurants i've been to.

The flavours and textures of each curry are also top-quality and always exploding with flavour, and can even be better the next day if you have leftovers!

I highly recommend Bombay Bliss Caloundra to anyone to try at least once if they want to appreciate what great...

Ordered a takeaway and after arriving to collect this the restaurant was empty and we had a very hungry 4 year old and a 20 minute drive home so asked if we could eat the food in and we was happy to have just out of the takeaway dishes. Was told no, they only allow people to dine in if they’ve booked to be a dine in customer. The young girl who was at the counter lacked any form of customer service and showed no empathy or wiggle room towards what we was asking. I would understand if it was busy and tables were booked but there was not a single person in there. Maybe she didn’t want the hassle of having to clean the table after us? Who knows. We drive from pelican waters to get our Indians from here but will look elsewhere in the future as it’s not just about the food when you go somewhere it’s the customer...
