Coconut Kulture — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

The delivery and customer service is appalling. We ordered the food through Uber Eats at 4:48pm with an estimated delivery time of 5:20pm. However, the food was delivered at 6:20pm. There was a note on the Uber app stating that Coconut Kulture staff would deliver the food.

We contacted the restaurant on 6 seperate occasions and received a call back on 2 out of the 6 times. During the first call back we were advised that the food would be delivered by 5:30pm.

After the 6th attempt to contact them, I was put through to "the manager", Vanessa. Vanessa was extremely arrogant, abrupt, and rude. Despite the fact that it was one of her staff delivering the food, she stated that the fact that the food was running 1 hour late was "not [her] problem" and she could frankly "care less if it arrived cold".

The food arrived cold, tasted burnt (as opposed to charred), and was too salty.

What a pleasant surprise..great easy location,plenty of parking.VERY Casual. Seating outside , we enjoyed sitting outside at the tables-and bought our own plates as we were told by the cafe that the meals served in take away style containers….and we wanted to share the food between the 4 of us…the flavours were just wonderful, chix Penang, beef massaman , drunken noodles of duck…the flavours were really great ..the service was outstanding by the young lady at the counter who delivered our meals outside to the table. this cafe really is suited to takeaway orders but happy to deliver to your table if you prepared to be casual dining environment ..LOVED the food...

WOW this place is amazing. Their food is out of this world it is so good. They seem to be always busy but they are always smiling and happy and always do their utmost to get your meal to you as fast as possible. Good to order on line giving at least 45mins before you require your pick up or phone head and ask for a certain time for it to be ready. Remember though and be fair this place does get crazy busy. But the wait is worth it for the delicious food they cook. So remember your patience will be rewarded at the end. They certainly do try their best to have it cooked on time. Thanks guys great food. Ohh and their Sticky Date pudding tops the meal off...
