The Barn on Flaxton — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

What a beautiful drive from Maroochydore through Nambour and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to Flaxton and The Barn.

Our friend lives in Brisbane and had heard about how good The Barn was from her son in laws, father.

It was pouring down when we got to the The Barn, but that did not dampen our spirits because as soon as you are entering The Barn, you feel welcomed.

You can turn left or right at the entry, to the Cafe or to the Local Crafts Gift Shop.

Either way your eyes will be opened and your senses stirred.

It was 11:00m when we ordered so we ordered brunch. Bacon and Eggs Benny for me and Samantha and Avacado Smash for Jill.

You will see from the photos, perfect presentation and absolutely delicious.

My Dirty Chai made with local Chai leaves was one, if not thee best Dirty ChaiI I have experienced to-date.

I took a few pictures of the view and the inside of The Barn and then had a quick chat with the waitress, who turned out to be one of the owners.... Angela

That was the perfect way to let them know we were impressed with everything and that I would be rating them 5 stars.

Samantha loves her Apple Pie and The Barn is getting a bit of a reputation for having the Best Apple Pie on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

We were still full from brunch, so we ordered Apple Pie to take away and will update this review when we try it later today.
