A nice little cafe in the midst of warehouses.

Ambiance - 5/5 - Feels refreshing to walk into the cafe. They have a nice little garden on the side and outdoor seating.

Food - 4/5 - I ordered the crunch me burger and Mocha. Costed me $26. The girl who took my order brought the Mocha first, that was very thoughtful of her. Thank you girl 😊! Burger and chips took some time but not much.

Mocha : Presentation - 5/5 Taste - 5/5 (I am not a coffee person so wasn't very keen on how it should taste, it tasted well for me) Quantity - 4/5 (For large I expected a bit more)

Burger : Presentation - 5/5 (wallpaper worthy 😉) Taste - 4/5 (I wish they used brioche buns, but even the milk bun didn't seem fresh. The chicken was dripping oil and it fell off the burger leaving the crunchy element on the burger. The aioli sauce was good and things inside did not slip off which is a big plus. The burger lacked something though.) Quantity - 5/5 (Definitely more than enough for 1 person. I had it for brunch and struggled to finish the burger.)

Chips : Presentation - 5/5 Taste - 4/5 (I have had better, nothing wrong. They were crispy as well. I asked for the aioli sauce and the combination was good) Quantity - 5/5 (Serves 2 ppl, need more condiments though. I had to leave some, which I hate doing with food)

Unfortunately my first and last experience here, I arrived early at 6.59ish and of course the place was completely closed as their opening time wasn't until 7am, which is perfectly understandable. Outside the front door was a soggy steggles box.

7.02am and an employee arrives, walks past me, not a word spoken. 7.14 am and another employee arrives and finally takes the soggy steggles box inside, also not a word spoken. A potential customer came over and asked me if they were open yet, I told him that they just arrived and were still setting up. 7.15am, standing in the light rain and I've given up on this place and left. I understand being late and even opening at your signage time 7am then starting to get ready, what I don't understand is the lack of communication by the workers and the lack of care by leaving that box that clearly has produce on the floor outside, soaking wet and walking past it. Unfortunate because I was genuinely looking forward to this place based on the pictures...

If you've ever had a corn fritter at another restaurant and been disappointed that it was an overcooked oil soaked mess on the outside and undercooked sloppy mush on the inside that would give American TV dinners a run for their money at worst foods of all time - then do I have good news for you my friend. Plantas has the BEST corn and zuchinni fritter I've had in a looong time. It's fluffy and wonderful and cooked to perfection. Chef's kiss. I purchased this via Uber eats and was also delighted to see I had an extra side of their delicious tomato relish as well. I was underwhelmed with the Matcha latte - simply because it wasn't the sugary diabetic inducing kind you would typically find in other places.
