First time social golf visitors. It is a lovely course and fairly well maintained. There's a very nice bistro and bar attached.
Just a shame that one person nearly soured the entire experience by behaving in an extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming manner. He stopped us in THE MIDDLE OF VERY FIRST HOLE and interrogated us rather rudely about one of us not having a separate BAG (for the only 3 clubs: 2 irons + 1 putter, that they have as a beginner!!). The shrimp were miniscule and tasteless although the overall dish was tasteless too. Portions were generous. The lady behind the bar was a delight, so friendly and happy, made the visit. Fine as a place to catch up with people and have some nosh but I would not go for...
