Bambinos Too Pizza, Pasta & Ribs — Restaurant in Sydney

Arrived to pick-up after the estimated 45 min and proceeded to wait for another 30min. I read another review where Bambino’s responded saying that no order is 30min late. Here is an example.

The pizza was “in the oven” when I arrived. This was probably true. But the wings clearly did not start cooking until someone realised too late. So we ended up with cold pizza and hot wings.

There seems to be a lot of staff working, who I am sure are doing their best. I just can’t work out why every time we order the estimated vs actual time is so far off. If it is 5-10 min wait on arrival no big deal, but half an hour with not so much as a “sorry for the wait” leads to these unfortunate reviews. We have had three of these type of stories in a row. Cold food, wait times, etc.

Will need to take a break from this place for a few months and hope for some change in process...

It appears this review concerning the frugal toppings on pizzas is not new if you read past submissions. I ordered a Marinara Pizza and on opening the box I originally though the shop had mistakenly given me a Cheese Pizza. If you check the first 2 pics I uploaded, you would be hard done by to find anything resembling seafood. This is a budget pizza at its best. Of what I could make out, there were few mussels each the size of my fingernail, no visible prawns perhaps they used diced up shrimps, and about 4 slithers of calamari (I think) at the centre. I also uploaded an image of a 'real' Marinara Pizza that I bought at a different restaurant (in Adelaide) just for comparison of what I believe is near to what people expect from a Marinara Pizza. Granted, it was smaller, but the toppings...

Great pizza, coffee and food in a casual setting perfect in all seasons. Eat indoors or out. The local Berowra owners taking it to the next level and in BTown we all support the locals. Great for kids Pizza parties. lunch breaks or family dinners. And sure they do take away as well. This is the shop that has the council bin outside that's a Redback spider breeder. That bin needs to be replaced with a design that suits the BTown environment. I'm doing my best to have this happen. There was a time when the suburb bins were a safe and simple design. Let’s go back to that design👍The Pizza shop owners would love that council bin to move for other reasons related to dumped rubbish from nasty locals. Who knows one day the local council will wake up and correct...
