Updated review: A big big thanks to TD and her team for organising a beautiful banquet for my family celebration dinner event! TD helped me organise the banquet menu to be very friendly for vegans, vegetarians and other dietary requirements, and she was super lovely, friendly and attentive throughout the whole event. Amazing banquet selection, and can’t wait to come back and dine again! —— Been here 3 times already, and Buddha Raksa always deliver. Great quality food, even greater quality service! We’ve had a few entrees (money bags and satay skewers), and would recommend both if you are a fan of the slightly sweeter side of peanut satay sauce. The money bag filling is creamy, with some peanut filling as well as other ingredients. Satay chicken is juicy! Unlike most other places where you know they rushed the heating up from its frozen state. Massaman curry hits the spot every time. Lovely amount of flavour and spice, not overpowering with the coconut cream base, to keep the main massaman curry flavour coming through. Slow cooked beef chunks that are tender and juicy. Xenia moscato is lovely as well! Fried icecream is a thick breadcrumb exterior with vanilla icecream ball inside, delicious!

The. Best. Thai. In. Sydney. Hands down. My family and I have been coming to Buddha Raksa for nearly 20 years. The food is amazing. The service is spectacular. Whenever I eat Thai food anywhere else I always compare it to Buddha Raksa. And I am always convinced that Buddha Raksa is the best. This restaurant is a staple of the area and I guarantee you that anyone who lives around here knows it. I think what really adds to the experience is the genuineness of the owners. They are so kind and good natured and whenever we visit they always ask how things are going. They truly are amazing people. The flavours of the food are always so nice and complement each other perfectly. There’s such a variety of food to choose from on the menu and they do it so incredibly well. You really really can’t go wrong with this restaurant.

I absolutely adore this Thai restaurant, I believe it's the finest in our town. The staff's approach was delightful, and the atmosphere was wonderfully enhanced. The charming waitresses were exceptionally friendly and ensured we were well taken care of. The Thai curry was incredibly delicious and served in generous portions. The presentation was also uniquely appealing. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sauces offered, so much so that I even took some home. This place exceeded my expectations; while many Thai restaurants lack good customer service, this one has it all! I highly recommend giving it a try—you'll be as captivated as I was, especially if you're a fellow Thai food enthusiast!

Beautiful interiors, lovely staff, fast service but unfortunately was let down by the flavours of the dishes we ordered. The mixed entree was probably the highlight of the night. Having come back from a holiday in Thailand just a week ago I found the Penang curry to be bland & tasted a whole lot more like peanut butter. The pad see ew was drenched in sauce and noodles a bit too soft. Only thing I can think of is that they are catering to western tastes & this is reflected by the clientele we saw on the night. Maybe other dishes are better here but don't think I'd come back. For the prices you pay there are others which are far better in taste & friendly on the wallet.

A hidden gem, an underrated, an authentic Thai restaurant that serves the quality Thai food. The inside decor is so nice and the staff are super friendly. Menu has different choices of entrees to share with friends and family (their chicken satay skewers is a must try) and many main meals to choose from. They also have vegetarian options as well as non spicy dishes for weak people like me to enjoy. Their Thai milk tea is LIT, probs my favourite. Unfortunately they don't have desserts. The price range is over $20/person but the portion is huge. It's also easy to get a table if you are walk-in.

The atmosphere is inviting, with staff making sure to create a pleasant experience dining here. Thai inspired decor adds a touch of magic with its well kept clean and vibrant setting. Food is a mix of traditional known Thai food and a few pleasant offerings not found at other places. I love biting into the food and discovering slight flavour twists that oomph up the taste. Price is mid range, but being surrounded in calm setting is well worth giving this place a go.
