Nice little local restaurant. Friendly staff. My family and I read the rave reviews and came over to give it a try. Restaurant seating area is clean if not a bit bland. I think most of the business is takeaway. Dishes are ok. We had two chef recommendations and a normal dish of the menu. Ingredients are fresh and not too much msg (I am affected when there is too much, and I felt fine) so the food was not too salty. Prices are moderate $17-25 ish range for main courses. Chinese restaurant looks like its been here for 40 Years and never had a renovation. Food was not bad, average flavours and small serves, with excessive onions. Customer service was below average, I had to keep getting up and going to front counter to order more food and drinks. At least revisit the table to check if they want more food or drinks. My fav was closed for renovations, so secided to come here based on some good reviews. Stumbled across this local family run Chinese restaurant while out in the Sydney suburbs visiting family - you could tell it’s a well known local’s secret tucked away with a cute community vibe. Food was stellar - not the usual overly salty, overly greasy takeout-style Chinese food one may expect, but a place run by a family who is passionate about what they do.
