SEP 2021: unfortunately this time the fish and chips didn't taste very crunchy or fresh, the beef burger was OK but nothing special.

July 2020: It was my first visit today and I was very impressed by the quality of the food and service. The people working there are so friendly and patient. I went with their recommendations and ordered a Peri Peri chicken burger, chicken schnitzel burger, calarmari rings, battered fish, and crumbed fish. Absolutely delicious! The burgers are a decent size and fair price. I also ordered a salad, which I later wanted to change to ceasar salad (FYI decent dressing, on the sour side) and they were so kind about it. The place has a steady stream of customers which is a testament to their food and service. I would highly recommend to try this place if you are in the area. It is a takeaway shop so there aren't sit down tables. Plenty of free parking out in front. They also accept credit card payment and I wasn't charged a surcharge...

Terrible service! I had a really disappointing experience at this takeaway shop. I ordered fish today and only had big notes so I prepared smaller cash amounts including $5 note and some coins. When I handed the money over the old lady with glasses turned away and said, 'So many changes, not enough money,' in a sarcastic way leaving me standing there feeling really uncomfortable. Thankfully another young male employee was kind enough to count the money and confirmed it was correct. I also noticed that another customer paid with coins and didn't receive the same treatment which made me feel like I was treated unfairly. Local takeaway joint that does a bit of everything. Don't expect much though, in the way of food though. Burgers while highly reviewed are actually pretty ordinary - beef burger was made with processed patties (not real 100% beef). Portuguese burger was decent enough but not spectacular. Food truck burgers nowadays have really upped the standard. Fish and chips were again highly rated but actually pretty disappointing since it's basa.

Service was friendly enough and efficient.

Atmosphere: A customer was allowed to smoke outside on the footpath and enter the shop to consume his meal. The whole shop smelt of cigarette smoke that wafted in the whole time he was smoking...
