Located in the Hills District and specifically within Flower Power, Frankies Food Factory offers a lovely dining experience catered for all – couples, friends, families, parties. It is in such a beautiful picturesque setting, and as you walk in, you can’t help but notice the sun room, overlooking the lake. The lake is filled with ducks which you can feed! This certainly gave the venue a relaxed feel. An instagram worthy venue with great ambience, rustic/country house décor. I also like the water mist cooling system used in the sun room. The menu is modern classics with a twist, and the food is fresh and tasty and most importantly, locally sourced. The menu is diverse & considers all dietary requirements. Staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. On this visit we were in a group and were certainly extremely well looked after. The big space means all customers are able to have the privacy between other tables as well as a great place to hold events/functions. We couldn’t possibly fit in any more food at the end of the visit, but loved that we were able to try so many of the new menu items. From Camembert triangles, to calamari fritti and kale and salame crisps – with crispy pepperoni, hummus and jalepenos, the starters certainly began well! Continuing with some delicious sweet potato fries, sprinkled with feta, always a crowd pleaser. Combined with the freshness of a prosciutto and ricotta salad, with watermelon, heirloom tomatoes, honey dew, chickpeas and watercress, the balance of flavours was perfect. From the list of mains, we tried the chicken tacos and for the meat lovers out there, the BBQ lamb skewers were enormous, served with capsicum, onion, hummus, toasted flatbread and fries. They have lovely salads like the orange and salmon salad with fennel, pea sprouts, pickled turnips, feta, carrots, quinoa and linseed. We also shared the halloumi and quinoa salad. Pastas are also on offer – they have a penne pasta with blue spinner crab meat crab as well as the “Pachino pasta” (a vegetarian option) with heirloom tomatoes, basic and garlic. We were so impressed with the quality and range of meal choices. quality and range of meal choices. Dessert certainly hit the mark and you must absolutely try the Donut fries. Quite possibly a match of the two most delicious foods around. Fries + Donuts! They look like fries, taste like donuts, and come served with Belgian Chocolate dipping sauce. Wow. When you think you’re done, you’re not. There’s cookies and crème churros! A dessert lovers dream. Made with oreo cookies, filled with oreo icing cream and served with white chocolate dipping sauce. Again, wow. To finish off, there’s also salted caramel pretzels with thick salted caramel and chocolate sauce. We highly recommend a few of these. Now we’re sure this will have you drooling, so make sure you pay this place a visit. The drinks are great too – juices, tea, coffee – they have it all!

The most disappointing venue to take your mother's to. Do not recommend ever booking here. 15 people for 11am reservation. We get there at 10:50am, there are 2 walkways that don't even tell you until you are near the end that left is for reservations and right is for walk-ins, we don't get offered seats until 11:10am and they gave us a table for 13 not our booked numbers. By the time the find us a table, it's 11:30am. We can no longer order breakfast menu as it 'ends'at 11:30am, 4 out of the 15 now trying to find substitutes. Order coffee and food. Food starts coming out at 12:20pm and coffees didn't come out until 12:33pm. 1 meal was undercooked (one burnt slice of bacon and 1 undercooked slice of bacon), 2 had too much salt, 1 had just a heap of garnish herbs instead of salad, and I'm currently forgetting the other 2 that had issues. 6 out of 14 dishes incorrect, 3 coffees cold and untouched left. Mums have had a horrible experience, waiters bumping inti chairs and us as there is no proper spacing and they try to cut through. This restaurant was clearly overbooked, under staffed and over worked. Do not waste your time here. the table behind us had a similar horrific experience. The servers don't know what they are doing, yelling with barristas about orders and problems in front of customers. Servers bumping into customers as no space between tables. Disorganised, bad food, horrible atmosphere, extremely crowded and servers with no ability to help. We will never return. Even exiting, one server sad one way, the other said the opposite way. They added a sign saying no walk ins after all the complaints but again all the way at the end of the line and as you are walking out there is a line through the shop and out to the car park without any sign at the start of the line to tell them no walk-ins. Find a better restaurant for events. I tried to warn as many families as I could.

I came here expecting a good meal. What I got instead was an experience so elite, so life-changing, that I may never be the same again. And no, I’m not just talking about the food. I’m talking about Sahil and Ciara, the Batman and Robin of hospitality, the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of table service, the dynamic duo that Frankie’s Food Factory doesn’t just need—but DESERVES.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Sahil and Ciara don’t just work at Frankie’s… they RUN Frankie’s. Their energy? Immaculate. Their service? Flawless. Their ability to make me feel like royalty while still roasting me for not being able to decide between pancakes and a burger? Unmatched.

SAHIL – THE SPEED DEMON OF SERVICE Before I could even sit down properly, Sahil had already materialised next to our table like some kind of service ninja, menus in hand, water poured, and ready to make my dining experience the best of my life. I barely glanced at the menu before he hit me with: "Mate, I already know what you’re getting. Trust me."

And you know what? I DID trust him. And he was right. Every single thing he recommended? Flawless. The food arrived so fast I’m convinced he’s either a time traveler or has some kind of blackmail on the kitchen staff. Either way, I respect it.

CIARA – THE QUEEN OF CUSTOMER SERVICE While Sahil was out here serving at the speed of light, Ciara was making us feel like VIP guests at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Friendly? Beyond. Attentive? Absolutely. But the best part? Her sheer, unmatched level of banter.

When I panicked and couldn’t decide on a drink, she looked at me dead in the eye and said, “Look, I could tell you to get a latte, but I feel like you’re a ‘caramel milkshake with extra whipped cream’ kind of guy.” And the way she READ ME LIKE A BOOK was both terrifying and awe-inspiring.

At one point, a customer dropped their fork, and before it even hit the ground, Ciara had a replacement in their hand. The reflexes? The precision? The power.

Together, Sahil and Ciara are the heart and soul of Frankie’s. Without them, it’s just a café. With them? It’s an unforgettable dining masterpiece.

Would I come back? Only if Sahil and Ciara are working. (Yes, I will be calling ahead...
