In fact, I just received another one today, and was already in a bad mood.
So I decided to test this KFC. I see all the negative reviews, and since I was already in a bad mood I was ready to let them have it if it was deserved.
I ordered a Packed Lunch meal.
Given the number of complaints I read about the fries/chips, I was ready to be disappointed.
But alas, the chips were crisp! Hot! This, even after an extra 10 minute walk back to my place. Could it be? Could some of these reviewers be giving this KFC reviews that are maybe a bit... exaggerated?
I needed to know more! So on to the burger. I take a bite and... what is this? Not only is the chicken thick, but there isn't a speck of pink to be found anywhere in it. Another 1 star review busted? Hmm...
Sure the drink, then, must be horrendous? I honestly haven't tried it yet as of this writing. One moment:
Okay, well Pepsi is just Pepsi. But the can is still cold! This is like 20 minutes after I got my order. Interesting!
Oh, and the cashier (a male of possibly Islander descent?) was friendly and quick. I got my order in 3 minutes and 26 seconds, yes you're dang right I timed it given the horror stories I'd read.

There was no explanation provided other than signage indicating the store was closed. This is not the first time I have encountered service issues at this location.
Over multiple visits, I’ve experienced the store running out of core menu items and staff advising that they “don’t have this or that,” which is unacceptable for a fast food outlet. This consistent lack of preparation suggests poor management and inventory planning.
Additionally, the staff often appear undertrained and disinterested, lacking basic customer service skills and professionalism. The early closure on this occasion is particularly frustrating as it contradicts the store’s publicly advertised hours and constitutes false advertising.
