CUSTOMER SERVICE is ZERO. 17.08.24 in Lapstone Hotel I've received misleading info in regards charges by paying c/c. Staff member confirmed 3 times that there are no charges if I pay by c/c. Next morning 18.08.2024 I was doing my internet banking and saw charge of 84c. I called the hotel, spoke to Melisa Smith (manager) , she gave me an email address of licensee in charge Tim Briggs. I sent an email to him. NO RESPOND. I called again in evening ask for Melisa Smith and been told that there is no person by that name. I asked for manager and gentlemen on the phone (probably manager) refuse to give me his name, refuse to rectify the incident, refuse to give me a name of young man, who was servicing us on a day ( I gave him table number, time of bank transaction and amount of money we paid. Absolutely insulting was statement from him : " I am not giving you my name as I don't know who you are, may be you are a murderer". At the same time he said, that he is putting notes (I don't know if he did or not), that "someone" ( he didn't said who) will contact me. So, 3 days passed - NO ONE contact me, there is no answer on my email either. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT???...

Read moreI visit here about once a month to have lunch with a friend. The only (minor) downside is the location and entrance. It is on a service road paralleling the highway and the entrance is from a large car park.
Having said that, there is no traffic noise and they have done a good job with the layout. Lots of seating inside and the pokies are out of sight in another room. The outside area has been prettied up with plants and is quite pleasant.
The food is good and serves are generous. It would be good if they had a couple more vegetarian options though as I always seem to order the same thing (vegetarian nachos). The coffee is excellent.
The reason I have given 5 stars not 4 is due to the staff. I have been here quite a few times and they have always been happy, helpful and friendly. Not in a fake American âenjoyâ way, but in a smile-and-look-you-in-the-eye way. My friend sometimes asks for variations on his meal order and itâs never a problem for them. Having good staff makes a...
