Little Village Co. — Restaurant in Sydney

My father and I chose a random cafe in Katoomba, and happened to land on this one. We went there and were immediately treated with great service. We ordered our food and waited a short time, while having small chats with the people that work there. Our food arrived and it was incredible! My father and I both got the pulled beef sandwich, and it’s 10/10 would eat again and again and again. On our way out, my father and I grabbed a sticky date muffin and caramel slice, and they were just as amazing as the sandwich! If you are ever driving through Katoomba, this cafe is most certainly worth the extra 5 minute drive from the town...

The decor is like walking into a large second hand store selling furniture, which was kind of quirky and enjoyable but that wore off after a while. I think they’ve missed the mark on atmosphere. The sandwiches were good enough for $16. It felt a bit pricey for what you get, which was a few basic ingredients and no delicious twists. No views, and all enclosed. Seems to be a popular spot for older locals. I had tossed up between this and the sandwich spot in Leura, but walked past it today and I’d probably pick the Leura one in terms of atmosphere, positioning...

We love this beautiful little cafe - which is really a warm and welcoming hub for the local community. The atmosphere is super cosy...a bit like your local home away from home. Emma the owner is such a warm and lovely person and her team are friendly, efficient and always ready with a smile for everyone who walks through the door.
