What can I say about this Maccas and my experience nothing special just another maccas you would expect things to get better with time . NOT ALWAYS SO ...!
Have gone into this Maccas again over October long weekend and what a shambles ..people all standing around waiting for their food and ofcourse we had already placed an order when I hear a guy going off saying that he'd been waiting for 45 minutes for his meal and moments later a lady with similar complaints , then 3 or 4 more people asking for their orders ,I should have just walked out, it seems like this place only gets worse with time , WELL WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS MACCAS ..???
Its November now and gave it another go, walk in and greated buy young polite girl asking us to order from kiosk terminal we said no we're good to order at counter she said it's CASH only at counter now so now we walked over to the kiosk terminal with her she said what would you like ? I said a Mcfeast and before I could say anything else she said we can't order Mcfeast its NOT on kiosk terminal menue Come over to counter to place your order OK we place order at counter including a frozen FANTA , what flavour ? HUH orange please.. her response we dont do orange flavour.. Who promotes try a frozen FANTA with 36 flavors and then dont do orange flavour, whattha !? Ok now to pay she says that we can use our eftpos CARD at the COUNTER where just moments ago it was CASH ONLY at the COUNTER... REALLY ? all sorted now. So off we trot with our little number and take a seat then hope for the best ,to my surprise the meals came out without delay check burger's and guess what, it was a Macsomthing not a Macfeast so back to the counter ,Sorry we will make another and while waiting another customer at counter says to staff their are a lot of flys around in here response to that yeah their always is. Tried the Hawaiian burger range and the toffee iced latte. Has also McChicken Burger and Fillet O Fish burger.
Hawaiian burger was nothing special. Had the crispy chicken one and it's basically a crispy chicken burger they just add pineapple chunks to it. That's all it is!!! I was expecting something more "tropical-like"
chips were only luke warm, means from warm getting cold. And abit undercooked.
filet o fish burger was upside down and had sauce around the edges of the box.
McChicken Burger was the best one and probably now my favourite burger at maccas. Angus burger is ok though.
toffee iced latte - absolutely shocking It just tasted like cold milk. With a hint of toffee flavour at the bottom of my straw. But really, I think their coffee frappe is the best drink for fold drinks at maccas, and hazelnut latte with extra shot of espresso hot or cold doesn't matter to me
Next time I go maccas if they introduced something new I won't try it.. I'll stick to my favourites thanks.
Staffs were trying to be friendly to me when it was my turn, but I knew they were under staffed and under pressure when so many customers come at once. I know how the feel. I used to work in the kitchen before and customer service at the counter at a restaurant. It's very stressful but staffs had to remain calm. Get agitated and they'll lose their temper even more. That's when they start getting more stressful and more angry. I've seen it happen at times in the workplace.
Honestly, I won't go back to Milperra maccas though, their food quality has gone down further than before
Best maccas so far I went to is St Mary's south, where there's a good KFC nearby at St Clair just down the road over the bridge. Their KFC so much better than the Liverpool and surrounds. Anyways I can't believe I wasted $36 for a crappy...
Read moreI walked into McDonald's Milperra and was greeted at the door by a friendly young lady who "invited" me to place my order at the kiosk. I smiled and replied "no thanks, it's too hard juggling my walking stick, handbag, purse and the machine at the same time". I then proceeded to the mccafe. The barista ignored me at first, then simply said "please place your order at the kiosk." Taken aback, I had to turn around (a difficult feat in itself due to my migraine -vertigo). I returned to the first lady. "I'm told I don't have a choice but to order on the machine". The girl helpfully proceeded to take my dine-in order for me at the kiosk then took me, my cash and coffee card to the register. I asked for a table number as advertised, as balancing a tray with balance issues is an almost impossibility. I tucked the number under my arm and made my way to a seat. Eventually, the girl at the cafe called out to me to come and collect my order. Thankfully another customer (without balance problems) was able to collect my order for me. When it came, the coffee was in a take away cup, rather than the mug I had specifically requested. I do not blame the floor staff at all. I blame the procedures which staff appear to be forced to follow. Milperra is the second McDonald's to present me with this precise scenario. About 4 weeks ago I had an identical experience at the Reservoir rd Blacktown and another 2 weeks before that at the same restaurant. McDonald's has been offering table-service for sometime now. Is it really wrong of me to expect an advertised service? Is it too much to ask for a coffee in a mug, not a take-away cup? McDonald's may me family-friendly, but are Definitely Not...
