I am writing this review specifically for their unlimited non-veg thali offered during weekday lunch. Please note, my experience is based on this time slot, so it might differ during dinner or weekends.
Although the place was reasonably busy—with 7 to 8 tables occupied throughout and around 30–35 guests—it didn’t feel overcrowded.
After reading a mix of both negative and positive reviews, we ultimately decided to give it a try, especially based on my past experiences with their other locations in Blacktown and Norwest.
And I’m glad we did—I was not disappointed.
They started us off with generous portions of papdi chaat and pani puri, both of which were delicious with no complaints whatsoever. Then, we were served one thali between the two of us, which made perfect sense for an unlimited offering.
That said, it’s not exactly a traditional “thali.” What we received was more of a large shared platter, beautifully arranged with multiple decent-sized bowls, each filled with flavourful delicacies.
The selection included four non-veg curries—butter chicken, Mughlai chicken, chicken lababdar, and goat curry. Along with that, we got a basket containing a naan and a tandoori roti, rice, a small portion of onions with pickle, and a good serving of boondi raita.
You’re free to order as much as you like of any of the above items.
The taste was spot on—everything was warm, fresh, and packed with flavour.
Honestly, I don’t think you’ll find better food for $20 in Sydney.
Now that I’ve experienced it myself, I’d say this meal is even worth more, considering both the price and service. Yes, it’s not a traditional buffet—but that’s actually a positive. You’re served at your table, which is a more premium and efficient experience. Their approach reduces wastage, unlike regular buffets where people tend to overfill their plates due to emotional triggers.
And just when we thought we were done, they brought out hot gulab jamuns served immediately after the meal. They were soft, fresh, and the perfect sweet ending. We asked for more—and we got them again with a smile!
For everything they offered—taste, value, and service—I’d confidently give them a five-star rating.
A great value for money. Highly...
Read moreWe went in for the South Indian buffet lunch. While we understand it took a bit of time to get the plate with the food to us, what followed was one of a kind. Food was average - Vada was a tiny piece of oily soaked odd shaped bonda. So was the Poori. Except for curd rice, Gulab jamun, dosa and tomato rice - All of them in small cups, nothing else tasted good. Chutney was a drop in the bowl. We had ask more than three times for two dosas and the quantity never went to sufficient. Sambar was good though. Talking about service, the girls were running around and it seems the kitchen was chaos. It is was totally mismanaged. We had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for one freaking dosa and never got a refill of tomato rice or anything else we asked for us. We were fed up at looking at as other tables were served duly - Almost most of them choosing to order from Alacarte menu. We thought it could be the service or kitchen causing the delay. We ordered Tandoori chicken from Alacarte menu and it was delivered hot in 5 minutes. Not sure if making dosa was complicated. If you cannot keep up your service or commitment, please stop advertising your specials. We were left totally dissatisfied with the food and experience. We ended up going to a different place to complete our lunch. Lesson learnt - 1. Always order from Alacarte menu and the specials are waste of time and money. 2. If you don’t like the service from the beginning, just walk out and no one would want to hear you out anyways. I am not someone who checks negative reviews about a place however this makes it worth it as it check all the experience other recent customers had endured and not an improvement in place based on feedbacks. Never...
Read moreDon’t know where to start. First impression everything was so dirty right from entrance door, floor, tables, walls you name it. Server approach to take order which was done promptly. Food came out looking very old and not appealing. Ordered pani pure was worst ever eaten no flavour and almost all puri were flat poorly filled and water was extremely sour. Upon asking they gave us different water but why not give at first place.
Panner makhni was so rich we could hardly eat 2 spoons I get it’s makhni but it suppose to be blend of spices and richness. Ordered veg thali roti was burnt and another panner served was inedible. Two mango lassi were served in a small steel glass. Gobi Manchurian was tasteless and extremely small quantity there were barley 4 to 5 cauliflower florets.
South Indian thali every item in the thali was cold. And lastly ordered mango kulfi which was total disaster it was frozen version of mango lassi with no care in presentation.
Only good thing I saw was floor staff was working hard. It was not that you were short staffed there were plenty of servers and kitchen staff but why every one was rushing so much not focusing on execution. I have managed very busy restaurants with half the staff you had that day.
We paid in total $137 between three of us and we barely ate half of what’s being served. We drove all the way from MacArthur and what a disappointment. Never again.
Want to finish by saying your staff is good it’s not their fault but there was no leadership or sense of pride or execution and my friend business is good than make it better this won’t last longer...
