A beautiful secluded little cafe nestled inside the forest. The beautifully sweet smelling trees invite you to location.

The inside of the cafe is adorned with glass panels all around you so that you can see the beautiful serene scenery wherever you sit. There is an outdoor section as well where you can sit amongst the trees.

The seats are wooden and not the most comfortable but they do provide cushions which is a nice addition. The tables are spacious and decently spaced out so it's not cramped.

There is beautiful lush greenery all around the inside of the cafe as well. It's such a delight to sit amongst the nature both outside and inside.

There is a gas heater in the middle of the space which adds a nice warmth to your visit.

The service is very welcoming and inviting and helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about their products and eager to assist with our queries.

The hot chocolate was delicious! But it was not as hot as I wish it would be. It was just warm. But still delicious!

The kitchen is quite small and intimate so the food takes a while to get to you. That's okay because it's such a pleasure to experience the environment and the space anyway. But yeh, just keep in mind the food takes a bit longer than normal to arrive.

But wow it is definitely so worth the wait ! The food is so fresh and delicious and flavourful! YUMM. The Red Lentil Dahl was so warm and soupy and delicious and soulful. I was obsessed ! The bread with a bit of butter on it was so fresh and crunchy and amazing.

The Rainbow falefal Bowl was a colourful collection of fresh falefal and jimmy's and cabbage and beans and other yummy things.

The prices of the food are very reasonable for the generous serving sizes but it is on the more expensive end of the spectrum, but still reasonably priced for what you get.

I can't really fault this place for anything. The experience of sitting amongst the forest with the roof-high glass panels all around and the plants placed all around the inside is stunning and amazing. The food is delicious and fresh even though it takes a while to come out. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and I can't...

This is a lovely cafe with great food, if a little overpriced however the service when we went was horrible. When we arrived we could see there were at least 3 tables available, however the waitress at the front told us these were reserved and we could only sit outside. She told us that a table would be available after a certain group left which could be up to 40 minutes. It was a 15 degree day and we had two young kids with us but agreed to sit outside and ordered coffee. After 40 minutes of sitting outside in the freezing cold, we noticed that the group had got up to leave (btw there were still 3 empty tables- no “bookings” had arrived) so we went back in and asked if we could take the now available table. The waitress fumbled for a bit and went to “check the system” and informed us that that table was now also booked. We argued that we had arrived first and she had previously told us we could have that table once the group left. She then continued to fumble telling us that the 6-seater table had a 2 person booking so we could sit on the edge of it, or we could sit at the 3-seater table at the back that was free. We simply added an extra seat and were able to sit inside with no issues.

The whole time we sat and had our food, the 6-seater table and the huge table in the middle remained available. We could also see the waitress was seating other walk-ins without bookings. I’m not sure why she didn’t want to seat us inside, potentially because of the two babies (we told her we would happily leave the prams outside and the babies didn’t need their own seats) or whether it was because we aren’t the usual demographic in this area (white) but the waitress was incredibly resistant to seating us, going as far as recommending we go elsewhere. We ended up spending a generous amount here and the whole time there was always at least one empty table in the restaurant so I’m not sure why she was so keen to...

Disappointing Experience – Poor Front of House Service

We visited on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, around 11am, and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. We were a group of four adults with two infants (who didn’t require seating), and were told by the front-of-house host that the only available option was outdoor seating—despite it being only 13°C.

We agreed to wait and were told 40 minutes for an indoor table. Then the estimate changed to “possibly 1pm.” Shortly after, she began suggesting we leave and try other places instead—while three indoor tables sat empty the entire time we were there.

Meanwhile, multiple walk-ins of two or three people (without children) were seated immediately at large 4, 6, and even 8-seater tables. It’s baffling how poorly managed the booking and seating system is. Either the host was actively unhelpful or simply not trained properly—either way, someone like that should not be in charge of customer service or managing tables.

The food itself was good, but the experience left a terrible impression. Based on our visit and other reviews, this venue clearly has recurring issues with front-of-house service and a lack of action from management. If you’re regularly turning away paying customers while seats sit empty, it’s time to reassess how you handle bookings and walk-ins.

Until then, I won’t be returning, and I definitely won’t recommend this...

I came across this lovely cafe via Instagram from its very Instagramable facade where you will find people posing at the entrance regularly. However, what makes this cafe great, and why I keep going back, is the FOOD. It's amazing how such a small kitchen can consistently punch out dishes that clearly reflects pride in what they serve up on the plate. Vegetarian friendly menu. Ricotta pancakes is a regular order for me (as second breakfast). Coffee is also top notch and again consistently good. However, there is one issue which is why I cannot give this amazing cafe 5-stars...the mercurial service. The place gets BUSY, and at times the wait staff cannot keep up with the hustle and bustle. I've waited for a few visits before writing this review as you can have horrid days of course. But my observation is that the service can be hit and miss and even when it isn't busy, one can have missed orders, wrong orders, or have difficulty flagging someone to bring some water to the table. The most recent visit, it was a 40-mins wait for our coffee/meal, as they forgotten the order. BUT, when the food arrives, all is forgiven. For that should be the reason to visit. Not to pose for 'gram (well you can while you wait for a table), but for consistently excellent food.

Have been here in the past and found the food to be of great quality. Today unfortunately it was quite a miss. While the house made scones were tasty, a few of the other items lacked especially for the price. The two little circles of a hash brown that you can get as an extra is concerning to be put at $5 but wouldn’t warrant a review. The shakshuk (shown in picture) had a steep spiral down. Picture 1 was the first time we had come which was an amazing dish, picture 2 is what we had been served today and was just flat disappointing… the bread was hard and the shakshuk was nearing cold. Not sure what’s happened with the sauce but the flavour has gone and it’s as if the sauce is now just tomato paste out of a jar. Finding the picture of the first visit shocked me at how different they had become and has really hindered my view on the quality around the board if one item can have such a contrast from past to present. That being said the atmosphere of the cafe is nice and not like many others, I just hope they reroute to their previous ways.
