There was a wedding on in the room adjacent to the dining area, and no doors on it, so it was very noisy. The waitress kindly moved us away from a draught to a new spot where the chair was broken and the sun was in my eyes. Despite the rocky start, we had a good night. We ordered the seafood platter and a lovely bottle of wine and spent more than we usually would. The seafood was all delicious but we ended up with so much food! The seafood platter for two would have served 3-4 people well with either entree before, or dessert afterwards. We said no to garlic bread with our entree to avoid surplus food, but we were talked into a side salad with the seafood platter as we were told it doesn't come with salad. There was lettuce and tomato with the seafood platter so the side salad was unnecessary and we regretted agreeing to it on the premise that there is no salad on the seafood platter. We ended up with a half eaten seafood platter and a barely touched salad and no room for dessert which I was trying to save room for. The mixed entree was lovely - the zucchini flowers were my favourite. The seafood platter was very well done. The baby octopus was perfectly cooked, not tough st all. The salt and pepper squid was delicious. Everything was flavoursome, hot, fresh and we highly recommend. The view across the golf course is beautiful and I imagine on a quieter night it would be very peaceful. The wait staff were quite attentive, even though they were run off their feet. A friendly waitress was able to help with basic wine information like white wine with seafood, and recommend some that she liked, but nothing particularly detailed and the information on the drinks menu was limited to names and regions. We chose a bottle of Italian Pino Grigio and it was beautiful.

Second visit to Terranova. Waitress continued to hackle by upgrading our order. She insisted we order garlic bread, and the chefs entree special as well as oysters. The meatballs on the platter are three. The waitress said she would make sure there would be one each for four ppl. When receiving the bill I noticed waitress charged us DOUBLE for the chefs entree special for one extra item. instead of paying $40 for one entree special they charged us $80. On top of this, on my first visit, I ordered the VONGALE. The dish was perfect. On my second visit, I ordered the same dish. I was unsure of the dish because the sauce had red sauce. The menu clearly says the dish has a white wine sauce and olive oil base. I was disappointed the dish was wrong and was not the same as my first visit. Lastly, my daughter was walking amongst the tables as we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time. She walked into the table, hit her head and was bleeding. The table edges are broken, chipped and sharp causing OHS issues. I wonder if this is shown to the general public and considered “ok” for eyes to see, what is happening behind the walls in the kitchen? Overall, we spent over $200 for two main meals, entrees and left with a crying, bleeding toddler. I would rather drive 45 to the city to have a good, consistent meal in a safe environment. Sadly, we will not be returning the restaurant.

We visited this restaurant for a Xmas get together with a group of 12. Initially the plan was to order a few entrees and share and everyone order their own main! The waitress was lovely and helpful suggested she organise share platters for 12. Great idea! However the execution was disappointing three platters with three of each stuffed zucchini flowers three meat balls and three croquets and a serving of calamari. Underwhelming for a group of 12 additionally she ordered bruschetta again only three pieces were on the plate! When we hear “mixed entree for 12” the reasonable assumption is that there would be enough for one piece per person. For mains a couple of us ordered the seafood platter for two priced $170 while the price seemed fair the fish fell short of expectations. It was overloaded with muscles and calamari 4 natural oysters for fresh prawns and a small coupe of garlic prawns. Not a single piece of Fish. This did not feel like a proper seafood platter. Perhaps I have been spoilt by a better experience elsewhere, but this was deeply disappointing. To top off the entire bill was over $1500 and they asked us to leave early as they wanted to have their party a bit Rude! If you are considering dining here save your money and head to Sealevel in Cronulla instead. Yes it may cost a little more but you get better value for your dollar.

I don't know how the google stars are 4 - misleading. People READ REVIEWS before dining. This is definitely not 4 stars whatsoever.

My family and I decided to try it out for Mother's Day lunch. We waited about half an hour for a waiter to approach our table near the entrance so wasn't hard to miss (not a good spot as the door is right there with people walking in and out - also bad seating during cold weather). After a while I had to get up and walk around to get a waiter as we were ready to order. The waiter we had was a lovely young man. After placing our order we waited a further hour and a bit for our food to arrive so by this time if was dinner time. My mum enjoyed her steak, the terranova chicken was overcooked, the seafood marinara pasta was underwhleming with the flavours, the gnocchi tasted like flour, the fettucine boscaiola was lovely would definitely order that again, the lobster marinara pasta could have been better and the lobster was overcooked, the olive oil and bread starters were a disappointment as the bread tasted a little stale should have been baked, and the seafood platter was the biggest disappointment given how expensive it is there isn't much variety (there was bout 4 small oysters, octopus, prawn, lobster and mussels which took up more than half of the platter ). I definitely would not recommend for big families as it's not worth the money you spend. Dinner came to $650.00 and I wasn't satisfied with what I ate. ALSO, you guys need to clean your plates, cups and cutlery better. It was dirty. I ordered a coffee and I had to wipe the cup as it looked like it hadn't been washed on the outside. The tables aren't very appealing also, there needs to be a little centrepiece and also...

Disappointing experience is an understatement. A guy who introduced himself as the owner took our order and was polite and attentive. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, 3 pizzas, seafood hotpot for 2, rib eye, 2 lobster dishes and lamb cutlets. Rib eye was undercooked, had the wrong gravy and we had to ask two different staff for a steak knife before a 3rd one brought it. Seafood hotpot came out in what looked like a bain-marie and terranova special sauce was watery, thin and tasted like broth. Other than the broth, the dish had no flavour at all. It had to brought out twice as the first time a waitress who didn't show us what was inside the tray she was asked "Where should I put this?". When we didn't know what it was or where she should put it, she took it away and another server, maybe the manager, brought it back. After 30 mins, 6 of the 9 people at the table had been served but no pizzas for the other 3. We asked a waiter to follow up who never returned. 15 mins later we asked the owner who also never returned. 10 minutes later we asked another waiter who did come back and told us it shouldn't be much longer. In between all of this the table next to us ordered the pizza as we had and had finished theirs. After 10 minutes more, I asked the manager to cancel the pizzas. To her credit she said she would have them boxed so we could take them and she removed them from the bill. I also had to order my wife's moscato three times before she got it and the second beer my nephew ordered never appeared. All in all - the food was average, the service was below average and the overall...
