The staff are absolute c*nts.
I don’t know if it’s all staff but whether you’re calling up the pro shop to query tee times, in the actual pro shop checking in or purchasing much needed golf essentials such as chocolate and caffeinated drinks or ordering drinks at the bar upstairs… the attitude and disrespect for paying customers is off the charts.
We’ve all seen the memes and videos on Instagram depicting these overly aggressive golf course attendants and pro shop employees but this is another level.
With all due respect, for someone who is responsible only for allocating tee times and selling confectionary their arrogance and disrespect is totally unfounded and completely unnecessary.

Read moreDisappointed - Played 9 holes of Golf Friday afternoon only to find 3 or the 9 holes were under repair with temporary greens half way up the fairway (temporary greens were a disgrace). To add to the disappointment, I was charge full rate of $35 and not told about the repairs (only to discovery as we played). When I finished I spoke to the pro shop about a gesture of compensation as a third of my round was essentially incomplete, I was met with arrogance and buck passing even being told, " the golf club doesn't set the prices, the council does!". I wont be recommending this course to anyone in the future as I feel Wakehurst Golf Club Management have lost touch with the people that supported them through the tough times (if given a choice.......
