West Sydney Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Sydney

Honestly, I feel like I was ripped off. We ordered 4 dishes via UberEats (no drinks). All up, $80 or so. So this place isn't cheap. Let's review each dish...

Pancakes - Now we will happily eat drive-through pancakes. I've never met a pancake my child would turn down actually, except now this places... 0/5. (He actually said they should be -1).

Bacon Potato Bake - Not terrible, but far from great (it was piping hot, which was a good start...). However, they didn't bother to cook the potatoes thoroughly. The bacon was also borderline. The dish was also a bit watery and lacked flavour, but it was not that bad. Let's give this a 3/5.

The pasta chicken dish. This is a more solid 3/5 experience. Nothing great, but nothing bad. Very average.

Garlic bread - They have burnt the top, but the bottom is cold. Frankly, I would think they should be embarrassed to send out something looking like that, especially given what they charge 0/5.

So with 2/4 dishes practically unedible (a new experience for us, hence why we all tried some of everyones dish to ensure everyone had something to eat) 1/5...

We have never ordered or ate at this restaurant before so i called the store to check on the size of the pasta in a deal as we have previously paid alot of money and received a taste size (from a different place) the manager I spoke to was so lovely, helpful and honestly a very happy positive person who gave me the time of the day to explain and answer all question even when I could hear they where busy in the background. On top of that the delivery girl was also so pleasant and so bubbly, she took the time to explain every dish that was handed to me, she also asked if I would like to take my delivery inside and check that I was happy with everything before she left .

When we sat down and started to eat the food, we had no words for it. This is the best pizza and pasta we have ever had in syndey. We 100% will only ever order from here from now on. The service here has always been atrocious. It's a shame as the pizzas are quite good. I'm glad I didn't get the rude Indian lady serving me this evening. Ordered a pizza and got toppings in a little plastic container on the side. I've been eating pizzas for 30 years and never experienced this before, so I asked the young girl serving me what was the reason for this. Her response was "I have no idea!" with a stupid look on her face, she continued to stare at me instead of going to find out. Shouldn't you know, since you are the one taking the orders and serving the customer?! 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ I assume it's so the pizzas don't get soggy, it's different I must say. Anyways, five stars for the pizzas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but zero stars for customer service. It starts at the top and that rude, arrogant, condescending Indian lady sure has set a poor standard. Not sure where this attitude comes from, you work in a pizza shop and you have pizza toppings all over...
