1826 was a highlight on our recent trip south. We seek out historic buildings with interesting stories, and these are even better when there is splendid food involved. Our hosts made us feel welcome immediately. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a bygone era with the crackle of the open fire and guests happily chatting away. Our meals were delicious and brought back memories of sitting at grandma's table with the family.
