A hidden treasure - after trying to find a good meal in the local area to no avail, we came across Ashcraig Thai Food. 🌳ATMOSPHERE: There was outside and inside seating and it felt very homely, the service was warm and welcoming and the garden and greeny was beautiful. 🍜FOOD: The standout really was the food, we ordered the Satay chicken skewers which were tender and packed with flavour, Pad See Ew which was one of the best i’ve had in a long time; noodles cooked perfectly and seasoned well. 💰VALUE: $4 for a satay chicken skewer as of Dec 2024, and LARGE portions (I recommend sharing a plate of noodles or rice between two people) the value is incredible for a farm fresh dinner. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Best Thai I've eaten in my entire life, even better than the food in Thailand! Was recommended here by the locals & I'm so glad we went - it was fresh & flavoursome with plenty of vegan options. They grow all their own produce & make the food from scratch. No bulk buy spring rolls here! The chef was very friendly & patient with my questions on the menu. We ordered the vege samosa, roti bread, green curry with tofu, cashew nut stir fry with extra veg, and the carrot prawn cracker things. Highly recommend! Who would have thought I'd find the most incredible Thai food in a tiny town at the bottom of AUS. Just a bummer I live in QLD & have to wait until next trip to eat here again

A delightful find just outside of Cygnet 😋 A rustic chem free farm cooking up genuine Thai flavours. I loved my lemongrass & kaffir lime beef stir-fry (GF). Lovely outdoor seating was perfect on a warm summer’s day. We’re gonna be regulars here 😍

With all the great reviews we were really looking forward to a tasty meal. Unfortunately this was the worst meal I've ever eaten. The noodles and seafood were mushy and smelled close to being off. The beef was tougher than a boot and as for the chicken in the rice, it was dry and tasteless. Way to much cauliflower and carrots. We couldn't eat our meals and threw the leftovers in the compost the next day. There was nothing fresh in any of the meals we ordered, it all tasted like week old, thawed out leftovers. Extremely disappointed, it was an expensive takeaway treat that ended up a...
