We have waited at a long queue where nobody cared about social distancing, even when we commented on proximity of people to us. Then given a table that has not been cleaned properly let alone upto covid cautious standards. I had to use hand sanitiser on tissues from the bar to clean our table as staff would not clean the table even after I have requested. There were multiple parties in shared bench table outside which is also against regulations.. I understand it is lunch time rush but this kind of management when covid regulations should be followed by ALL, it has been disappointing to see the...

I am depressed this morning.

My toastie just slept in the kitchen for around 10 minutes.

I bought a toastie. He said that after 5 minutes, he took my toastie in the kitchen. Around 10 minutes later, he saw my confusion; he said sorry but still served another customer. That's okay coz they were so much busy. The most important thing that made me angry was that he took the same cold toastie for me. I stood outside so I could see what he did. He didn't take my toastie from the oven or microwave. When the staff took it for me, he said...

We sat outside in the sun, on the verandah and soaked up the magnificent views, watching the 3 Bruny ferries, yachts and motor launches come and go, while we enjoyed a feed of salt & pepper squid and an interesting Bruny Island IPA, with a kick like a mule! 😅 Can highly recommend this establishment, which is under the recent new ownership of a lovely young woman from Sydney, who saw the light after 22 years as an optometrist and now calls...

I have low expectations for cafes located at transport centre / rest stop in terms of food and cleanliness but wow, i was pleasantly surprised! The interior is clean and lovely and has a nice view of the wharf. I had a blueberry muffin and flat white. The blueberry muffin was warm and fluffy with a nice coconut scent (they probably use desiccated coconut), one of the better blueberry muffin I’ve had! Flat white was really good!

The last place that you can get some coffee and breakfast before taking the ferry and head over to Bruny Island. Given the location one would assume they serve below average food and coffee but no, the coffee is pretty legit. Definitely don't taste like instant coffee and the food is pretty decent (especially the hashbrown). However, if you are catching your ferry, you might not made it in time for the hot food
