As visitors from interstate staying in Evandale overnight, we were lucky this gem of a place was open late on a Thursday ( nothing else was). A minimal dinner menu but the fish was so fresh, lightly battered and cooked to perfection as were the chips. The beef burger with the lot was exactly that - homemade beef patty, lettuce, tomato, beetroot (yes!), fried onion, cheese, egg & bacon! A special request ham salad for an elderly family member was no trouble and delicious. Great service and lovely conversation from the owners who were genuinely interested in us. Would very definitely come back next time we are in the area.
