Plenty Cider — Restaurant in Tasmania

We ordered two pizzas and were waiting for around half an hour before the girl who served us came over to re-take our order because it wasn’t written down. Some people on our table got their order (two other pizzas) soon after but we waited for another half an hour before we asked about where the rest of it was. Apparently it was about to go in so we went back and sat down. Meanwhile we have watched other groups come and go and getting their pizza very quickly. Another half hour later we asked again and they didn’t know where it went since it was never written down and they didn’t have the receipt. They told us it was going in right then and we finally got out two pizzas after waiting an hour and a half for them. For two of the staff it was their first days and they should not have been rostered like that to start with. Food was good but there shouldn’t be that much hassle...

I only discovered this wonderful Cidery today. I didn't notice any signage on the main road and so pleased to add this destination as a must visit for my Tassie visitors. There is a selection of 7 ciders available with 3 having recently won (Apple & Quince) Bronze (Pet Nat) silver and (Cornucopia) gold awards in Australian Cider Awards (Melbourne 17/18th Jan 22) . While food is not sold at the bar coffee is available. On the day we visited an on-site for van sold scrumptious Italian food.

I chose to give four stars not because the quality of cider or facilitates is lacking but because the Cidery is new and it will obviously improve with age. I want to leave opportunity to visit again and...
