Whilst it was a very busy day, the staff were not organised, no one was told there would be a 45min-1hr wait for both food and drinks. When we enquired how much longer our meals would be, the manager Kypher snapped and then walked off mid conversation.

As someone who has worked in hospitality for 20+ years, this was one of the most disorganised establishments I’ve ever been to.

Better training and organise from the manager would not have gone astray. The wait staff tried their hardest but having several different ppl on the register, having the barista (the manger Kypher) constantly coming out from behind the coffee machine and intervening, no table numbers, disorganised T/A window - this was truly a let down.

Our meals did not even come put together- had to wait for them to recooked a GF flake and chips (it was clearly stated several times at the register when ordered), the food seemed a bit rush, but was not too bad.

I hope that this is just a once off, but I get the feeling this may be a regular occurrence....

Had takeaway hot chips which were fast and delicious. While eating those outside on the pack bench we noticed there were souvenirs inside. Thought we'd go have a look. We noticed the sign on the window that said cafe closed Mondays. We thought we just wanted to look not eat so we should be ok to go in and look. We went in through the unlocked door to see a table of about 10 people about to eat. Cafe closed??? Don't think so. We were then met with a very abupt young lady who states "cafes closed" I said thats ok we weren't going to eat just look at souvenirs. She said NO cafes closed. Very rude. We were made to leave and she slammed the sliding door closed and locked it behind us with a huff before we were hardly out it. Not sure if she was having a bad day and we just topped her off, but we were made feel very unwelcome. Lovely young man at the takeaway window may need to teach her...

Visited on a glorious weekend end of March - unfortunately we arrived just after service hours. Whilst I understand the need to have a break between service times... I found it completely wild that the coffee machine was switched off immediately and the staff basically switch off also!! Zero communication from ?front of house staff... just a blank expression and inaudible verbal responses! Considering there were approx 15-20 ppl coming in and out with disappointed faces I would suggest keeping the coffee machine going at least until your last customers have finished eating!! I have worked in hospo and service positions for many years and I could not believe how rude and inexperienced the staff appeared! It was truly embarrassing. My friends were having a giggle by the end of it all - so bizzare...

We travelled from Port Sorell to Boat Harbour to experience the seafood chowder cob loaf and so very happy we did. The chowder was jam-packed full of delicious Tassie seafood including scallops, calamari and fish, with the chowder like none I have ever experienced. My last experience of chowder was in Scotland and the chowder at Seekers well surpassed that. The king prawns, which accompanied the dish, were amazing. The best latte and hot chocolate too. We also took home the vanilla as well as pavlova cronuts and wish we had bought more; they were so scrumptious! Staff were so very friendly and with their ‘Be Kind’ approach, this is definitely a wonderful experience we will be coming back to time and time again. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Great beach ground restaurant Very busy weekends and on holidays but great food only issue a little unorganised regarding waiting and food ordering their is a side take away area for fish n chips then the more expensive area for finer dining lunch menu starts at 12 pm midway up until then it’s a breakfast menu only and take always arnt available till midday please don’t feed the seagulls they are decently looking to score those much prized chippys to deal out in the seagulls underworld so be careful other than that if you want an amazing lunch right on a beach that has an amazing view right down the coast then make your way to this little gem it’s just a super magical spot to stop and eat some food!
