Very disappointing stay, after staying here prior.
Rooms was very dusty, smelt mouldy and run down. I understand that COVID has impacted us all, I'm a business owner too.
However, if tourists have decided to travel to support the towns. Do the decent thing and make sure the room is worth their stay.
Why wasn't the restaurant open? Advising the day before by email that the restaurant will be closed is not good enough, especially when there are no other places to eat in town.
"Get something on the way" is what we were advised to do. No much fun after travelling for 24hrs to get here. No suggestions or directions to "grab" something, remembering we're tourists. A little hamper of sandwiches would have been sufficient.
Grounds are impeccably beautiful. Filled with native fauna and flora. We came back to see the animals, which again didn't disappoint. It was the humans that let us down..
To again have a meal at the restuarant; which left an impression on us last visit. Very gutted.
