The Top Pub — Restaurant in Tasmania

The town was a ghost town. We were trying to find food and thought we might find it here. Stepped in and either they still allow smoking inside or they haven't changed the carpet and decor since the smoking ban because the whole place reeked of stale cigarette smoke. In the pub, great counter meal (had a chicken schnitzel which was fresh and seriously good), really friendly staff in the bar. Stayed two nights too. Clean, newly renovated rooms for really reasonable prices. Water pressure in the showers was awesome!! Great hot shower to be had. Nice one Top Pub....

Dropped in here on a Saturday to have some lunch. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Had the lasagne which was true honest homestyle and not premade purchased rubbish. The lady bought over a big basket of toys for our son to play with which he loved. Definitely recommend....
