Visiting the Otway / Great Ocean Rd / Rail Trail area for a week of relaxing and finding great places to eat. Schulz Organic Dairy was on our list to visit. However we never envisaged going to the same place three days in a row but that's exactly what we did.
From the first moments of walking through the gate you are experiencing a wonderful garden environment with plenty of places to enjoy and see the cows đđ. We visited on a rainy morning so inside we went.
Day 1. The coffee was so creamy and full of flavour. We had the Rip and Dip selection board (pictured) and the scones, jam and cream. The selection of produce was amazing and thoughtfully put together with care and respect the produce deserves. The condiments compliment the dairy products fantastically and really added to the amazing cheese and quark without overpowering. The bagel and bread also were a delight. We were so full and content.
Day 2. We found ourselves back at Schulz for lunch. Omas toastie and the special for the day spinach feta pastry. It was just as tasty and filling as the previous day. Coffee on point again.
Day 3. We both had toasties. I talked mine up so much the previous day my wife just had to try it and I went for the Bolognese toastie. Soooooo good. We tried the hot chocolate this day and it's a must with this ever so creamy milk and real chocolate.
Lots of products are for sale in the shop area, and we bought lots of them to take home with us to share with family and friends.
The staff are really lovely and welcoming. Thanks for making us feel like locals for the days we visited.
It really is...

If you ever find yourself near the stunning 12 Apostles, do yourself a favor and stop by Schulz creamery & cafe.
I had the most incredible cheesecake thereâhonestly, it was the best Iâve ever had! Made with the freshest, organic dairy straight from their farm right next door, every bite was pure heaven. The rich, creamy texture and the perfect balance of sweetness left me wanting more.
Plus, the café itself is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat after exploring the area.
Itâs truly a hidden gem with a farm-to-table experience thatâs hard to beat. If youâre a fan of delicious, local, and sustainable food, this is...
Read moreVery nice place to treat your taste buds. We stopped here at around 3pm, an hour before it closes and they were out of most of the stuff.
We were lucky enough to get the "Just a taste" cheese platter ($27), beautiful last scone, last chocolate earthquake cake with cream on side, cheese cake slice and bottle of non-homogenised, lightly pasteurised milk. Needless to say, they were all very yummy!! Special mention to the light and delicious cream and flavoursome quark.
It was but chilly, so we sat inside the Gazebo but there is a lot of seating outdoors. Any other day, I wd hv preferred beautiful outdoor setting.
Toilets were clean even though this place was busy for most of...
