With limited dining options around Tomakin we decided to give this a go based on some of the reviews. I don't know how anyone could score this place 5 stars, at best it barely scrapes in for 2 and that's based on the service which was friendly, attentive and helpful. Ordered the steak burger which was absolutely enormous but I'd gladly trade the size for better quality and preparation. Steak was chewy, bacon was undercooked, anaemic and unappetising, salad toppings were below average and the bun, although toasted, was stone cold. Sauces missing in action. It's not hard to make a decent burger but Dan failed miserably and at $22 it's highway robbery. Message to Dan: size is no substitute for quality. If any place needs a Gordon Ramsay makeover it's this.
Response to Dan: I've deleted some of the material that offends you but the rest of my review stands. Despite your insistence on quality, your restaurant is only as good as the last meal you served. If you can't get it right the first time why would I send it back and ask for another? And one more thing Dan, if you think you're getting rave reviews then have a look around on other review sites eg. Tripadvisor and you might get a clearer picture of the public's opinion of your restaurant. You're fooling yourself.
2nd response to Dan: and that's exactly the response I...

OK not in my comfort zone but if that's the way it is. On reaching the link, had to upload credit card details. Again not comfortable with this. After 5+ attempts, card was unable to be accepted. Tried with wife's card, same result. Tried to order from the wait staff was told that they don't take orders that way and I should go outside to the take away windows and order there. Not what I wanted to do after booking a table. As we were leaving, we spoke with a number of other patrons who had similar experiences. One person they tried to charge twice for an item that was already paid for on line. Stories of food paid for and not arriving, or being charged twice abound. Needless to say we left, not having eaten anything. And we will not be back. To add insult to injury, a couple of days later, upon doing a review of my bank account online, found that my card was compromised, a scammer had attempted to take money. I had to cancel my card. Most inconvenient. If you have eaten here in the past, check the charges on your accounts to ensure you haven't been scammed. The worst thing is, management are aware of the issues with this ordering system, but...

Did that but when I asked if the pizza contained any egg, the girl said, "Uh maybe on the cheese sauce, I dunno." So I asked if she could confirm with the chef and she came back and said, "There's no egg on that pizza."
Now when I come back to pick up the pizza from the kitchen staff, it has a mayo-looking cheese sauce on it. So I asked the young fella handing me the pizza, "does the cheese sauce have egg?" and again, got a no.
Still a bit worried, my husband decides to check the cheese sauce ingredients that we happened to notice for sale on a nearby counter as we came to collect our food. And you know where this story is going - yes, there's egg in it.
Informed the original bar lady and she was brilliant, getting a new pizza made up straight away. But if we hadn't tripled checked, my son would have had an allergic reaction. The staff really didn't seem to care (except for the bar lady). Very disappointing as the food was lovely (once we'd determined it was safe...
