The Rivermouth General Store — Restaurant in Tomakin

It appears new management have taken over The Rivermouth, which I had always avoided on recommendation from locals.

The new team have clearly taken the time to think about how to make the cafe better, starting with a small menu and focusing on improving service and quality. Really very impressed and am convinced about making this a more regular stop when in Tomakin.

Worth a visit. Now under new ownership will be the best cafe in the Bay area! Just had a bacon and egg roll here and was the best I have ever eaten seriously perfection plus an amazing carrot cake and slice. New owner operators are doing a great job with clear talent in the kitchen. Such a cute spot in a leafy setting with outdoor tables and v close to Broulee. Looks like menu will keep expanding as they settle in. No queues and easy to get a table...

Sooo disappointing, we are here on a Sunday, and the place is all closed up. AGAIN. The last time I was at the coast , the same thing.
