I have been dropping by Sunrise Bakery everytime we go to the river because their pies and sausage rolls are amazing. Sunrise Bakery is by far one of the best bakeries in SA. Their pies range is massive and so far everything I had has been amazing. I have had their chicken kiev, pepper steak, Ned Kelly and Guinness pies and I have not been disappointed. I even had some of their sausage rolls and they are pretty good. Sunrise Bakery staff are so friendly and welcoming, their prices are reasonable and open on most public holidays. I was extremely disappointed and humiliated during my visit to True Road Bakery today. While I was on a business call, the staff member refused to serve me, stating they would only do so once I got off the phone. I found this behavior absolutely unacceptable.

In 2025, it’s common for people to conduct business on their phones, and I don’t believe anyone has the right to dictate when I can or cannot be on a call, let alone embarrass me in front of other customers. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply upsetting.
