Farmers Hotel Vacy — Restaurant in Vacy

Grabbed take away last night & was very happy. The service was friendly & relatively fast (not fast food so was not expecting it to be as fast as it was). While we waited we had some drinks & chatted with the lovely barman.

Food Review: BBQ Chicken Pizza - excellent. Good size for sharing, plentiful toppings, very tasty. Pepperoni Pizza - excellent. Good size for sharing, pepperoni had just the right amount of spice to let you know it is there but not too much to make it too spicy. Plain Burger - very generous size. Loads of delicious salad, juicy meat patty. Chilli cheese bread - didn't need to order 2 as each serve comes with 4 slices but it was still gobbled up by the kids! Chips - still hot & crispy even after driving home with them so I imagine they would have been even better if...

There was a booking made for 40 for lunch two weeks prior. Turned up on the day. 1 person behind the bar and 1 person in kitchen + 1 VERY rude lady taking orders. We were table 6.we were all told that she would take order from first table (10people),cook their order, then when it was served, she would take next table order. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! We were the only people there.The fact they had prior warning so they could prepare and didn't is disgraceful. Most of us left.We are a social motorcycle group and I can guarantee we will be letting our community groups know not to go here. Some travelling from as far as Central coast...

Cane in today on a whim and was totally blown away!

I was so surprised that no one else was here during lunch on a Friday.

Husband and wife team running the pub, I ordered a sirloin steak and my mate grabbed the classic schnitzel burger.

My steak was cooked to perfection and it was just the right size, done medium.

This is a stunning little pub that you must drop in and see, the atmosphere here would be amazing on a busy afternoon after a few beers and a good feed.

I'm looking forward to dropping in a lot more often on our adventures north...
