The Beach House Providore — Restaurant in Valla Beach

Was celebrating Christmas and New Year's up at Coffs Harbour. Mum kept raving about this really nice place called The Beach House Providere.

We decided to go down to valla beach and check it out on arrival mum ran in because we saw on Google they close at 2pm so she rushed over hoping not to miss out.

Mum jumped out of the car and asked the person that was serving if we can order and the person behind the service counter mentioned that they are closing and that we would need to order now.

Mum came back to the car and let us know that we had to order now to meet the 2pm closing time we were very lucky because we arrived just 6 minutes before they were closing.

When we all walked in and this lady came waking from behind the kitchen claped her hands and said with a firm aggressive toned voice we are closed now, thank you.

Then I mentioned but mum just came in and asked if we could order and the lady said yes but we need to order now. Not even 30 seconds went past. By the time mum Walked out the door to the car which mind you was parked right at the front of the door.

They ended up kicking us out and to my disappointment and mum disbelief that they said yes and didn't want to serve us not even 30 seconds later it's very sad for a holiday destination.

I was also later confronted by an older person who mentioned that they had been opened from 6:30am I did understand that and said I would understand if you refused my mum when she first walked in but why say yes and then refuse service once we all walked in.

Also for the lady that instead of understanding why we were so upset, and how mum a local from Coffs Harbour rated this place will now be telling every body about how bad the service is at this place.

I even mentioned to the other person that walked out later that we are coming to your venue during peak season when everone is on holidays.

Even if we were to arrive at 5 minutes to 2pm I'm sure they could have bend the rules and taken another order which would have been take away.

Mum will also be telling all her friends and family aswell not to go to this place because there service and attitude...

This has been our local cafe nearly every weekend and before the owner had come back on the floor we felt welcome and was a wonderful environment and food. And then the owner has been there every weekend since.. been another 4 times as we really did enjoy it, but she makes you feel like everything is a burden, ur the biggest burden asking for cutlery for our food, for wanting to sit at a table but hadn’t been cleaned, just a very awkward environment. What topped it off was on my birthday I ordered a burger which was red raw mince in the middle, so I took it back and I was told it was my fault I should of said I wanted it cooked well done (steak I get it, mince I didn’t think I had to ask) and next time they wouldn’t fix it for me, I then googled can you eat raw mince and the answer is NO. Let’s top the lunch off with a piece of cake from the cabinet.. I got a piece of chocolate cake, with a hard white candy on top (that’s what I thought it was) it was dried, whipped cream that was off (yes I tried to eat it and it was sour) the cake had been sitting in cabinet that long it was off. If only it stayed with the lovely manager in charge as she is a people person and always said hello. The owner is rude, makes u feel anxious to ask for anything…definitely...
