This course was originally an asparagus farm in the 1920s. It has been converted to a two 18-hole golf course, the Beach Course and the Creek Course. One of the pumps used on the farm to provided water for irrigation is kept beside the 5th tee of The Beach Course. We played the Beach Course hoping to be treated to sand and sea. Indeed, we passed signs to a surf beach along the buggy track and saw dudes with surf boards cycling toward that direction. Unfortunately, it did not come into view on any of the holes we played. There is, however, a huge inlet of water around which Holes 3 to 6 circumvent, providing a pleasant distraction. Being a links course, there aren't any tall trees on the course. But you would do well to avoid getting into the rough. Thorny bushes with thick wiry branches that are higher than your head prevents any entry to retrieve your ball, even when it is in plain sight. A hazard in more than one sense of the word. Possibly the shortest par 3 on a golf course could be found here. Just 104 meters from the white tee, you would think it is an easy score with a pitching wedge. Not when the green slopes downwards on all sides with bunkers in front and thick vegetation all along the sides of the short fairway. Best to land your ball before the pin with a bit of top spin to carry it up the slope but not so much to roll past it and downward off the green. The 13th Beach plays agreeably well without puting too much strain on the average golfer.

We have just stayed 3 nights at the golf lodges and played the Creek course. Every staff member we encountered from Donna on the front counter to the young team running the restaurant were exceptional. So friendly and helpful. The accomodations were very good. We had an oversized double room with a great bed and a verandah with a view of the course. We ate in the clubhouse for dinner on our final night and the food was very good and a great selection of wine, lunch after our round which was also a great meal and a grab and go breakfast in our package which was just right for each morning. The course itself had recently been renovated from winter but was in very good condition. The greens were in the final stages of recovery but still very playable. This was one of my favourite courses on my Belarine/ Sandbelt trip and was challenging but thoroughly enjoyable. I'll be back to visit again.

If there is a 10 stars rating I would give it to them. The hospitality on the reception and proshop are superstar !!!! I played the Beach course, there is the creek course which I will be back to play. Both of the course are within the TOP rank 100 golf course Australia 2021 This course located in a very cool area, I was there when the weather at its best, cloudy with mid speed wind, tho it’s challenging but it’s part of the game. The staff and the quality of their reservation is excellence. Warm welcome very modern facility and clean. The fairway mostly are wide, very tempting but be aware of many bunker located to challenge your shot. The hardest part of this course is the Green, all the green is very tricky and have their own character on every hole. I really enjoyed playing here. Thank you 13th Beach Golf

i'm sorry to write this but i want to tell you how i feel. i have played golf and stayed at this course several times and always happy no complaints. just last week 8/2/2025 i took my daughter to join the junior golf program for girls. stayed at the short course, everything was great except the service attitude of the girl at the bar.

It's really hard to accept the way she treated customers. I asked to buy toast and hot chocolate for my daughter but she didn't even look at me, spoke very rudely, and when she delivered the food to me, she dropped it hard on the counter. I felt like I was bothering her and asking her for something free.

Meanwhile i saw her treat other people differently. when i went in and asked another person nearby if I could borrow a pen. I decided never to ask her because I was still very angry but she said loudly “I don’t have pen for you either”. I considered myself very nice and have not done anything to be treated like that. this is unacceptable. I am so sorry that a luxurious and beautiful classy place like yours has a staff with such a poor service attitude.

That may stop people come back the course...

Underwhelming. We expected great things and were disappointed. Accom was great, no complaints. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We played creek course as members only on beach course alternate days. It was well maintained but we have played far better for half the price. Beach course may have been slightly better but we won’t be returning to find out. No GPS in cart, no rain cover. We were overcharged green fees and had to request refund. Restaurant not open on Tuesday night, fair enough. On Wednesday afternoon asked to see dinner menu and was shown a comprehensive menu that looked lovely, he did not mention we should book. When we turned up for dinner waitress gives us a menu that was basically either pizza or chicken Parma/schnitzel, not the delicious sounding menu we were shown earlier that day. Then when we place the order we were told pizza only available for walk ins!! Really?? We had spent close to $1000 and we could only have pizza??!! There are better courses for far less, this was not worth the money paid. Sorry guys, we were very...
