I am totally blind with a seeing eye dog and found the food at this venue to be nice.

Thank you for allowing my seeing eye dog and my friends assistance dog into your venue today on 31 November 2023. The only concern that I have is that The signage on the toilet doors are not accessible for people who are blind or has low vision to the point where i’m unable to identify which toilet was which, because the signage was not raised tactile, it was flat, so I could not feel it, which meant I could’ve walked into the wrong toilets, which would have been an embarrassment for me and other customers also the signs on a toilet doors that I mentioned above are also too high up for people to reach or to feel if you’re a short person Look forward to seeing this problem resolved. Thank you. I came back to this venue again on 4 July and still no disabled signage. The sign that they have is a flat one is unable to feel it. It needs to be raised and it’s too high up. Never again, drove 1 1/2 hrs for a booking of 15 people at 6:30pm, ordered just before 7pm with majority of the table getting fish&chips, 1 carbonara, 1 risotto, 1 steak and chips, and 4 kids getting spaghetti and a bowl of chips each. 45mins went past with only one plate of fish&chips served, not long after the kids got their meals and more fish&chips come out after 1hr of waiting. I ordered a entree serve of carbonara that I received around 8:15pm “lucky I didn’t get chicken added or it would’ve been another 30mins or more”… Our table complained after 1hr of waiting on meals and was given 2 free drinks as a apology and said it would be out “very soon”. After the whole table had received their meals and finished them, we were still waiting on 1 risotto that just started being cooked around 8pm!! We ended up getting it in a take away container and eating it on the way home as everyone else had already finished their meals and staff where beginning to pack up tables.

I cannot recommend this place.

The food quality was subpar. The garlic bread arrived merely warm, and the garlic butter was not even properly melted. When our burgers were served, they were swimming in grease, and the buns were soggy.

Additionally, they forgot one of our meals (the parma). When it finally arrived, it was dry and unappetizing.

I managed only two bites of the burger before giving up. The parma was barely touched as well.

We ordered Coke but received Coke Zero instead. After returning them to the bar, we were given more that were also Coke Zero. It seems their tap might be hooked up to the wrong syrup.

Since I don’t dine out often, I was quite let down, especially as this was meant to be a celebratory dinner. I wouldn’t recommend this place and certainly won’t...
