We’re staying at the rec ground in our RV and a lovely local lady, walking her dog informed us that the pub is a 5 minute walk, and she didn’t lie. 5 minutes down a lovely lane and across the road to the pub. The meals are large and very nice. The venue itself is quaint and a tad run down, however it added to the adventure for us. The Staff were super friendly and informative. Worth a visit and also there is a very relaxed Alpaca and two goats out back. Awesome place

This is a fair dinkum Aussie small country town pub. Right down to the farm animals that the kids can meet out the back. The food is good and the customer service sensational. It has a quaint old feel about it and if you are driving around Bethanga do your self a favour and drop in and support small town businesses which have done it tough.

Amazing huge lunches. So tasty. Staff were so helpful and offered to take photos for our group! You can pet the ponies, goats and rabbits in the property. Probably a good idea to book in advance because it’s very popular.

A hidden gem that should hide no more! We’ve been here a few times in the last 6 months and are yet to be disappointed, quite the opposite. It’s country hospitality the way it should be. The food is reasonably priced and made with care and attention, the last time we went the Bethanga Chicken was exquisite and the Chicken Sandwich was delish (and not short on the amazing house-made pickled onions). They don’t overbook sittings so the wait times stay under control unless you’re there at peak service times (if you’re thinking of popping out spontaneously, check their Facebook stories as they are great at updating when sessions are booked out).

These folks are having a genuine crack and we’ll continue to support them, and hopefully so does the rest of the wider community.

Only request is to invest in some speakers and throw some tunes on outside. Otherwise, it’s the perfect day trip destination. Keep up the great work team BH and thanks for all the hard work, hospo certainly ain’t...

If i could a negative start review, i would.....Party of 4 dined for saturday lunch. Entrees are tiny. First dish of 4 mains arrived just 2 mins after entrees. The main dish was incorrect and sent back. Owner/manager came to table to re-check order and advised us that he would speak to chef/kitchen staff. Second dish arrived, veggies for this dish were cold. 10 mins later, the first dish that was sent back arrived, this time it was correct, however the chips were cold and soggy. After waiting another 45 mins, the third and fourth dish never arrived. When we questioned, owner/manager said he would get the kitchen to cook them straight away. Time at this point was 2pm, and we could not wait no longer. No refund was offered. Music was too loud, could not hear each other talking. 1 guest was offered a broken chair to sit on. Kids running around screaming. Not a great experience and...

Amazing meals! I had lasagna, chips and salad. So good! The lasagna was everything it should be - saucy, soft pillowy pasta, and a lovely chunky beef bolognese topped with shaved parmesan. Great chips and a nice little dressed side salad. The other meals at the table were just as generous and tasty! So impressed at the portion side and quality of food.Garlic bread was awesome. A cool venue in a beautiful setting, in a stunning little town complete with corner store, vintage shop / post office and cute little art gallery. Its such a nice drive there, plus they have a hobby farm with animals at the pub for kids to pat - goats, lamas, chickens etc. The pub has an outdoor deck area overlooking a small creek, a pool table, music and friendly staff - all adding...
