09/05 and 24/5 ordered delivery through menulog . Both orders arrived without drinks. ( This has happened before with this shop about 6 months ago but thought they had improved internal procedures to stop it from happening)
9/05 delivery I spoke to a lady on phone and she said they could not deliver lost drink and I had to pick up, so I got a refund. Bit disapionted but got over it.
Order on the 24/05 again arrived without drink so I was a bit frustrated it had happened again. Rang the store and asked for them to deliver as this had happened two orders in a row. The lady on phone was polite and said they would drop off in 30 minutes.
2 hours later I phoned and a man with thick Chinese accent answered and told me it had been delivered. I advised that I had not recieved the drink and he argued it had been delivered ( obviously to wrong house, or just trying to get me off phone and put refund through menulog again) he then said sorry and hungup on me! I rang back very unhappy I admit, that I had been hung up on and product not delivered. The lady who was very polite said she would refund , which she did.
I'm disapointed that I'll never order from these guys again as they were my go to takeaway when I had spare money to splurge. I like to look after local business. Ive been a regular customer and loyal and they could not make sure a bottle of soft drink could be delivered seperately and accurately.
In these tough times, people who actually have spare money to get takeaway delivered should be treated better and business's should be grateful for customers. You forgive if mistakes are made every now and again, not twice in a row and to be hung up on and basically told you are a liar. Really bad customer service and I want be back.
The food is reasonable here with portion size and good for price ( some takeaway outlets in Bendigo have terrible food, small portions rip off prices and delivery fees ). My only advice is do not order Drinks with your order and you will not be disapointed . They will not deliver the drink if they forget it with your order, will expect you to pick up and then accept your request for a refund when you can't pick up. Not a good policy to keep...
Read morePretty appalled after placing an online order. After manually typing in my address the app never registered for 'delivery'. After waiting for quite some time I phoned the store as it was sitting 'waiting'. I was advised it was waiting for me to collect. I explained I had clicked on 'delivery' but it has obviously not registered. The gentleman who answered the phone simply didn't care. After 2 phone calls to the shop they made no attempt in helping me get the order. In the end I suggested they offer my order to the next person who walks in. $48 down the drain! I just hope they offered my order and did keep my money and take someone else's on top. I marked 1 star only because it wouldn't allow me to post with no star so in fact I don't rate...
Read moreWill not be returning , I just picked up my order which I paid $52.50, ordered $10 chips with chicken salt, ,7 potato cakes and 20 stream dim Sims, instead I got about 3 handful of burnt chips, 7 potato cakes that were all stuck together and once you did get them apart they fell apart and turned into mash potatoes, dim Sims were good though, but 💯 will not be coming back , I'll drive to the other side of town for chips or go to maccas across the road, really need to improve your cooking skills or you lose customers on a daily basis serving this to people and over...
