Cannot fault the chicken scallopini, it has hit the spot twice now on two different occasions. Fish and chips were good, and the chicken wrap was polished off. Need to restock the liqueurs for cocktails, but other than that not bad, not bad at all.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Churchill Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff provided friendly and attentive service, and the food was delicious. There was ample seating available for dining in.

Super good and tasty food. We got a Hawaiian pizza and the platter for two. The pizzas had incredible flavour. The food was very nice and the staff were lovely.

Saturday night in Churchill with 3 friends looking forward to a steak dinner at Churchill Hotel. Arrived @ 6:00 as requested when we booked, had a round of drinks and ordered by 6:25. The first steak arrived at about 6:45 with chips and salad - it was ordered as blue, blue but it was rare - not too bad. Second steak arrived at about 6:55 as well as the single order of fish & chips. Nothing to complain about yet as I waited for my medium rare scotch fillet. 7:10 and it still hadn't arrived so I joined the queue to enquire. Foolishly but hopefully, I left the queue when I spied a waitress going towards our table with what looked like a steak dinner. Tricked you! Back to the end of the queue. When I was able to query the hold-up to my dinner I was told I would be advised straight away. Well, that didn't happen, nor did the fast-tracking and the steak still hadn't arrived by 7:30. when I again queried the hold-up and why the 'fast-tracking' didn't seem to have made any difference. I was then advised that the dining room was very busy and that there were a lot of other people who also wanted their dinners, but as a gesture of good faith and to compensate I could have a cup of coffee (a single cup of coffee - for our table of four!) When my dinner hadn't arrived by 7:45 I again enquired to which I received profuse apologies, guarantees that it was being expedited, was in fact on the grill as we spoke (I would have thought that had happened some considerable time earlier!) and they were terribly sorry. I explained that as my dining companions had all finished their dinners and that all of the fuss and bother had taken away my appetite, I was no longer interested in sitting down to a steak dinner, would they please provide a refund, which they agreed to do. Five minutes later my dinner arrived! Too late! I apologised to the waitress but told her I no longer required it. We finished our drinks and left shortly after 8:15. Actually, I didn't finish my drink because I was driving and because I hadn't eaten, I felt it would be wiser not to drink further. Not a happy outing, certainly not the one planned and anticipated; and I would not bother going back. I was about to say that you shouldn't bother to go there unless you are a local and known to the wait staff, some patrons seemed to get much better service than we did (shouldn't be difficult) but one of our party is a local, although he is not a pub regular; and we had been there previously and had an ok evening out in the big smoke of Churchill, so i can't quite understand where we went wrong on Saturday night. We won't get...

Decided to have family dinner at the pub and it was one of the worst experiences. The servers were very polite and apologetic but when asked to speak to the manager after the manager kept sending them out back and forth to deal with our issue they never came back and our issue was just ignored. We ordered and were charged for an extra meal. Asked for a refund and they were trying to tell us that someone else at the tables meal was added to our order and that they hadn’t paid for their meal. We were given a refund but told whoever ordered the certain meal needed to pay for it. The meal had already been paid for, it was a mistake on their behalf and obviously just accidentally added it to our order too. The young servers were trying their best to fix it and I commend them but the manager should have stepped up and taken responsibility for their mistake and spoken to us themselves instead of sending the young ones back and forth. After telling the young server to send the manager they never showed up. We finished our meals which were not great. Mine wasn’t edible. When the servers took our plates they just said “don’t worry about the Parma , sorry for the stress.” Thank-you but that also doesn’t solve anything. No responsibility was taken, they acted like they were just giving us a free meal but it had actually been paid for. We made sure to tell them as we were leaving. It would have been a lot easier if the manager had of just come out and spoken to us and apologised for THEIR mistake. Not very good...

Normally I have no issues with the Churchill hotel bistro. However my husband and i decided to treat ourselves and go out for a nice sunday lunch today, and it was a huge disappointment. My husbands meal was fine, he really enjoyed it and it looked great. However I ordered the Kiev, for which the "Sunday lunch menu" stated it came with rice, salad, chips and a garlic sauce. There was no sauce on my plate. I went up to the counter and enquired and was told "oh, we normally only do gravy on sundays". Well, why is a garlic sauce advertised on the Sunday menu as part of a dish?? A girl went out back to ask the chef, when she came back she said some was being made now. I went back to my table with the understanding some would be brought over to me. I began eating my meal slowly, hoping for the extra sauce to arrive soon. 20min later I still hadn't received any sauce, of any kind. At this point gravy or even tomato sauce would have been better then nothing. I made use of what was inside the kiev (not much and more of a paste then anything) but without the extra sauce available the food was dry and bland. Definitely suffered from the lack of additional sauce and the only reason I finished most of it was just me being polite and not wanting to waste food. I'd have left a better star review had the staff offered me another type of sauce or gravy at any point during that 20min, instead of leaving me to sit at the table waiting for a sauce that...
